A conversation came up which made me wonder which game out there has the most music ever in it. Official or gamerip, # of cds or # of songs, any genre. Voice files don't count as far as I'm concerned, nor do remixes unles they're used in the game. So, what's the verdict? I'm betting on an rpg.

not sure, looking at my playlists, the biggest one is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Could be one of the Grand Theft Auto's when it comes to length with every radio station spanning 1 hour(but that includes voices too)

I would say that the Breath of Fire Soundtrack box is probably the longest official release.
Whopping 11 CDs with the whole OSTs from Breath of Fire 1-5.

As for the most music, I'd also say Smash Bros. Brawl. It, after all, has around 300 tracks.

At first I thought of EarthBound or Final Fantasy XII... but no, Brawl's the longest by far. Damn, 15-16 hours.

Mother 3 does deserve a mention on the RPG section, though. Over 6 hours in a GBA game, that's not for everyone!

As for RPGs, FF XII has 103 tracks as I counted moments before. But FF IX has the longest score, at least for final fantasy, with 110 tracks.

I have quite a few...

Metal Gear Solid 4 is pretty big
Guitar Hero 3 is actually pretty long, when you get the DLC, but so is every music game now...
Brawl takes the Cake (Damn...)
Kingdom Hearts Complete Collection (9 discs of Win)
Animal Crossing on the Gamecube
Twilight Princess has alot
And the "Devil May Cry"'s 3 and 4
