Okay, this one has been hanging on my HDD for *quite a while* now, so lets share it, some might be interested in this old piece of first person shooter history. Maybe.

SiN is the infamous PC action FPS of 1998 powered by a modified Quake II Engine and developed by Ritual Entertainment (previously called "hipnotic interactive", now "MumboJumbo"). The game suffered of many bugs at its time of release, and was completely shadowed by the all-mighty Half-Life (like many other FPS from the late nineties). The game featured gore and fast-packed action set in a futuristic environment, additional missions depending on objectives accomplished by the player, evil scientists and Duke-Nukem-like hero. A poor sequel called SiN: Episodes was planed but only the first episode was ever released.

The original soundtrack is composed by Zack Belica (mystery spot: I don't know if he's real name is Zack or Zak, both seems to be used). It's a nice mix of industrial sounds, artificial choirs, synthetic strings, hard rock bits, drum and bass and it definitively has an action-cyberpunk-tv-serial feel. Sadly, despite a bunch of bad IP-based products (have you seen the anime movie?) the OST would never be released.

This version features 38 tracks (75'). Because each theme is divided in three or four lumps dynamically mixed in-game to fit the action, I decided to mix them (I though it was better than eighty looped tracks anyway). Each file (rather low quality WAV files) was extracted from .SIN pack archives using some tool provided along the SiN SDK. Hope you'll like it. The RAR (86Mb) is hosted at MegaUpload.com so... hurry if you want it, I guess.

You can download the OST here (sorry, link no longer available)

EDIT: Since this OST isn't succesful at all, I'm not going to check it out anymore. If the link ever break and you want to download the soundtrack but can't find it anywhere else, ask for a re-upload. Thanks.

RE-EDIT: What year is it? 2012... is this file still online? Wait... megaupload is dead?! New links!

Laaater. Peace.

Awesomeness, Zak Belica is a truly great composer, love his works!
If ever by chance you got more of his works to upload, please do.
All I do have at the moment is Myth III and SIN OSTs.

Much appreciated before-hand.

Zak Belica also did the Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes soundtrack, I could upload it if nobody else gets around to doing it.

Also I tried to open it from pak0.sin but it was't successful.
The .SIN files are like Quake PAK files (except an entry in the file table is 128 bytes long instead of 64 -- 120 characters for the filename plus two long unsigned integers (2x 32bits)). The Sin SDK can open these files, maybe other tools can.

I'm surprised the download link still works.
The files are hosted on a somewhat personal ftp, it's painfully slow but it works so far -- feel free to reupload these anywhere else.
