Well, seeing as I noticed the lack of Eminence on these forums, I figured I might as well add what I have. However, neither were ripped by me, but I cannot remember who ripped them or exactly where I got Passion.

Destiny Dreamer's Alliance, however, came from a torrent that is quite possibly dead as of now. Warning on DDA: The entire CD is in one file due to an odd conversion job. If you know how to convert .wvc into individual .mp3s -- Or how to break a single .mp3 into multiple files, please let me know.

As a bonus, I included Yuki Kajiura's "A Song of Storm and Fire" from the anime, Tsubasa Chronicle.

Enjoy~

Thats pretty simple to do in Foobar using Lame. Download the command line encoder Lame 3.98.2 from Rarewares.org

Drag and drop the *.CUE file into Foobars playlist window-->select all-->rightclick-->convert to-->MP3

Awesome, thanks for this! I love the Destiny Dreamer's Alliance music ^_^ beautiful classical arrangements. Do you have the extra .cue file for the .wvc, as the previous poster said, so we can split it into separate tracks?

Oh, I guess it's been awhile since I've been on here. :( Last I visited and checked, there was hardly anything. I guess this can just serve as more distribution?

Sadly, the torrent did not include the .cue file. All I have is the system information file and album art -- Nothing more. Is there any other way to splitting the files?

Well....for splitting files I can probably be able to do it manually but I'd have to know all the file names since I don't know all the song titles. If someone can get a me a track list I'd be willing to do it.

EDIT: Found a tracklist and separating Destiny Dreamer's Alliance tracks. Anyone want me to upload them when I'm done?

Go for it, if you may. If it's okay, can I add it to the topic post and give you credit? I'm certain people would prefer the files being separated as opposed to it just being lumped into one file.

^Sure, I wouldn't mind at all.

@Firestorm: Thanks~ There were some title discrepancies I found though (namely in the RxJ soundtrack titles) so I used a different tracklist for those ones.

Anyway, link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/4187ev

@Acerbus Hope

I wonder why the filesize of your archive is so small compared to the archive from Nenotoki Kumoris link. Did you reencode the MP3s?

Acerbus Hope
11-03-2008, 02:19 AM
^I'm not sure exactly. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact there's long spaces between songs that I had to shorten to keep the individual files sounding natural in length so that probably cut down on the filesize a bit.

Firestorm717
11-03-2008, 02:41 AM
I think the reason is because you re-encoded it to 128 kbps. The original was VBR in the ~250 kbps range. May I ask which program you used to split the files? Was it foobar?

Acerbus Hope
11-03-2008, 02:44 AM
^Ahhh, I didn't even realize I was re-encoding.

I was using audacity and manually splitting the songs from the original track.

Firestorm717
11-03-2008, 02:48 AM
Yeah, it's unfortunate that Audacity has the default set at such a low bitrate (presumably for people who do a lot of long recordings and would like to save space, as they are not too worried about quality).

You can actually change the bitrate in the options menu as described here (http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Lame_Installation#Windows_Instruct ions)...I usually rip at either high quality VBR as the original encoder did, or CBR 320 kbps.

PetPet
11-03-2008, 12:08 PM
There is no need to reencode the files. Reencoding results in a loss of quality.

mp3DirectCut works lossless = no reencoding.

tangotreats
11-03-2008, 08:33 PM
Second that, PetPet - why in the name of God are you re-encoding? Madness!

@PetPet and dannyfrench:

....

As I said earlier in this topic when it got pointed out "I didn't even realize I was re-encoding" so it's not like I did it just for the lols. I used what practical method I knew and didn't know that the way I did it wouild result in loss of quality. Hell, I'd be willing to try to properly recode them but I'm busy all week with classes and exams. Feel free to do it yourselves if you like.

Sure thing. (By the way, you can just call me Kumo for the sake of a shorter name. I suppose I should PM a mod and request a shorter name as I really only use "Kumori" these days.)

Sadly, I only have Destiny Dreamer's Alliance. There was nothing included for Passion when I downloaded it. :( Perhaps the other upload thread for Passion has some album art?

Just a note on this great upload,

I've been to two of Eminence's concerts now, Night of Fantasia 07 and another I can't remember the name of..but these guys are really good. A real treat for anyone with an ear for orchestra or anime/game music.

However, due to lack of enough revenue from shows, Eminence has cut out Melbourne tours for awhile now, much to my disappointment, and only performed in Sydney for the whole of this year.

So just a note, for those who find their music great, to support them in any way, and just acknowledge their great team that put these albums together. I've bought three of their albums and posters, and they're worth their stuff!

Thanks, Kumori! (Don't worry, I'll remember to use the shorter name XD) Yes, the other post seems to have a few cover arts, though not full scans of the booklet. Pity I can't find any of Eminence Symphony Orchestra's works anywhere...their online store only displays their most recent work on Blizzard. rebelliousjedi, where did you purchase the albums? Is there some other online venue, since I can't fly out to Australia, unfortunately.

firestorm, unfortunately I bought them while I was present at the concert. They hold booths outside the hall during interval and at the end.

They used to have a wider variety of stock on their online website, but they haven't been active as much, again due to funding I think.

I'm buying echoes of war though! That one looks really good.

Gosh, this is a bit late of a reply, I hope I don't get chewed out for bumping my own thread... >_>;

I really wish I had the A Night in Fantasia '04 and '07 albums. Sadly, I live in the US and can't afford to fly out to Australia. It's a shame there's no where to find the albums online (well, there's always eBay, but then the prices are probably insane...).

I managed to find a few tracks on a mixed CD that I burned ages ago but the quality varies from track to track. (Sorry if some of the tracks are crappy- that was all I could get my paws on at the time.) Also I found someone willing to part with some of the hardcopy of their collection so I should be able to rip and upload the tracks in the next couple of weeks if you're all patient. (The person I'm purchasing from is located in Japan so it might take some time due to shipping. Plus Kiri-can is somewhat of an airhead when it comes to remembering stuff. =_=)

Hey Geyzer. thanks for posting the lossless, it's much appreciated. Question: does any have the .wvc lossless of "Passion"? As long as a .CUE file is included with the .wvc file (most likely an ISO image file) then I should have no trouble burning, ripping, and/or splitting the single file into individual tracks whilst still retaining lossless!

If someone still happens to have the original files from the torrent (to "Passion"), please do upload them and I'll gladly show ya all how to deal with files like these for any future encounters. :) I use a program called Exact Audio Copy by the way, the most accurate way to rip/burn audio CDs. I'm subscribed to this thread now, so I'll checking in from time to time. Cya.
