I aren't passing judgement on screens and demos, I'll make my mind up once I've got my mittens on the real thing in a couple of weeks [along with my XBLA pre-order, oh yes!].

On the music however, very Banjo, so in other words, very amazing! :P

Wait until you've played the game before you judge it.

I played the demo, and it felt more like a sub-par racing game than a true Banjo platformer, though I'm biased due to the first one being one of my favorite games ever (nothing will live up to it in my mind).

That having been said, does anyone know if Rare is releasing an official soundtrack to this game in the next few weeks?

Already spoken to Grant on that one, and he's saying that Microsoft don't like Soundtracks as they feel they don't make them any money, so he very much doubts there'll be anything official heading our way. Although he confirmed 90% of the soundtrack is orchestrated, which is always nice!

And as for the demo, the whole point of the demo was to show off the new feature of building cars etc, so it will have felt that way I guess... it is up in my top 5 games ever aswell, but I'm being a little more reluctant to pass judgement until there's a full copy in my hands in 2 weeks.

Given that the game has the option to turn off sounds and voices, ripping music to this game will be very easy for people. I have a friend who plans on ripping more once the game gets out.

Yes, turning off sounds and voices essentially was the way this rip was made anyways. The full game will be ripped the same way =3

This music is so great, and the game is hilarious. The loveboat parody for Banjoland's intro makes me laugh every time.

I'm just starting to wonder how I'm gonna use my XBLA download code, cause my Uni network doesn't like consoles being on it. Looks like I'm gonna have to bug a work colleague at Game to let me bring my 360 around for a few hours haha!

Just thought I'd say that I'm slowly [and I mean SLOWLY] putting together the full game rip. I do have 99% of the music now from the game, I'm just waiting until I've played that part of it to label it properly haha.

Done about half the labeling so far. Know it's not overly fast, but it's faster then others by looks of it... just about half way through Banjoland to give you an idea. But don't forget that means I've done EVERYTHING in Showdown Town already, including teh amazinggg "Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh World!" :P
