I don't suppose anyone has any of the soundtracks from either of these two Peter Chung series? Aeon Flux or/and Reign the conqueror?

they are super rare so i doubt anyone has them but i thought id ask just in case.

Here is a tidbit of info from the Wikipedia page of Aeon Flux.

The music and sound design for the original television series was created by Drew Neumann. The music was later compiled on an album titled "Eye Spy, Ears Only Confidential". The initials AF were used on song titles and in the credits to replace the words '�on Flux' due to the lack of licensing permissions from MTV. The album includes two discs worth of material from the series and also from the defunct original (1995) PC and PlayStation videogame project.

I will post the only Reign the Conqueror OST made(to my knowledge at least) just as soon as it gets here in the mail. Unfortunately it isnt all directly from the series as each track seems to be affiliated with different professional musicians(but Ken Ishii is the composer of the Alexander Senki soundtrack used in the show apart from the Opening theme(and Im ignorant as to what the ending theme is)). It seems by the relevant song titles however that these are mostly original songs or songs from the series redone by different artists. All songs seem to be original and exclusively related to the anime(because the songs all seem to have no links to any of the artists' other albums/singles). One thing for sure is that Ken Ishii is involved in the first track and the opening theme to the Japanese version is the last track on the album so...we'll see!

It would be cool too if somebody reposted the Aeon Flux ost(s). Expect to see the Alexander Senki ost sometime this week as soon as it gets here(its been about a week since I bought it off ebay). In fact depending on what the ost sounds like, I have a mind to pursue Ken Ishii's "people" until I get a reply concerning any chance of him simply compiling his work and sharing it(at which point an unofficial ost can be made and shared online). Some of the tracks are just super interesting.

Heres the link to the Alexander ost. This is just what I thought it might be: songs from the show covered by different instrumental artists...the first song being the opening remixed by Ken Ishii himself and the last track being the closing in its original full version. Very few of these tracks catch my hear or strike my memory unfortunately and the many songs and snippets that caught my attention in the show just arent in this album which is upsetting. Truthfully I know how inquiring often gets results but I dont even have the heart anymore to personally try and compile an unofficial version from Ken Ishii. Please enjoy if possible and make this available anywhere you wish(if I may say so....seriously the project shouldnt be valued anymore than 5 bucks tops and that for the first and last songs).

Thanks for uploading the Alexander soundtrack. I haven't seen the show for some time, so I'm not sure how much of the BGM I'll recognize, but it's definitely one I've wanted to have. I got "Worthy of Your Soul" years ago, which is a rare example of an English OP being better than the Japanese version.

I agree....it even matches the series better...I feel the series was meant to be made for US(it wasnt a success in Japan).

Is the soundtrack from the English, or the Japanese version? I watched the English version, and remember a song that sounds like a rock version of a Middle-Eastern song, and other songs that I can't seem to find. I'm assuming the two versions had different songs, or the soundtrack is incomplete because I can't find the songs I wanted :(.

The 4shared link I posted up there works but the Rapidshare one doesnt. i wont be using Rapidshare anymore because they remove it after so much time if you arent a paying member and of course Im not because rapidshare pretty much sucks now unless one is using it to store many files unlike me. 4shared used to be like Rapidshare(easy to download from) but now you have to register to download if Im not mistaken. Its safe and fast and not much of a hassle(though I was upset when they changed it...I hate registering for stuff). Use that link and enjoy(though im not very fond of how they did this ost especially how they left out some key impacftul tunes that WOULD have been recognizable unlike the ones they chose to remix).
