I was organising my music stuff when I remembered about this game. I saw a few people asking on here for it, so I've ripped as much of the music as I can. I might have missed something (I can't remember that much music in it), but all the main themes are in there.

This is just a straight recording from the N64 game, so I think a couple of tracks have sounds in them, nothing major though.

Heh that's stupid, I didn't know normal Rapidshare uploads could only be downloaded 10 times. I'll reupload it with my premium account, hopefully that should be ok.

Hey, thanks for the effort. I didn't know anyone ripped this album. Last I checked, no one cared. Great game, great soundtrack. You have my eternal gratitude.

BTW, this game has a sound test, so you don't have to rip during the actual game and include the sound effects. Also, you can turn the SFX volume off if you're playing the actual game. Also, in regards to the missing songs, from what I can remember you only missed two songs. One plays during the credits, and another song doesn't play anywhere in the game except for the sound test. Overall, you did great. I'd like to know how you ripped this, if you don't mind me asking (programs, methods, etc).

I can't thank you enough. I've had the game since it first came out and I've always wanted the soundtrack. We're talking nine or ten years already. You have no idea how grateful I am. You are the MAN (no offense intended if you are a woman), but yeah. Awesomeness.

Ah, I never noticed a sound test... heh, that would have made it a lot easier. To record I just used a line in from the N64 to my PC, I use Cool Edit Pro to edit audio. Not the best quality, perhaps an emulator might be better, I'm not sure what kind of quality you'd get from it though. I might have another go at recording it sometime, with the sound test.

The thing about the sound test is that you can't select the song that plays during it. You just have to select BGM volume and toggle it on to hear a song. If you do it again, another song will play, but it will be randomly selected. There are only 20 or less songs in the game, so if you heard a song you recorded already, you just have to restart the sound test until you get a song that you haven't recorded.

What exactly is a line in? Does it work universally, or does it work only with a specific console?

Well a line in is just a port to take a connection. In my case I used a Y cable to connect both the audio cables (I use composite) into one 3.5mm audio jack. Then that just plugs into my PC, you can select line in as a recording option in the volume mixer, assuming your soundcard has a line in.
