I thought when I started ff9 I'd like vivi best, then i found out he was completely different to how i expected him to be. After carefull consideration I've decided on my faverate: I like Quina, how about you?

I liked Zidane and dagger the best followed by kuja nuff said

Hard to decide, one thing I liked in FF9 cause all the characters personalities were as far from each other as they could be. But I think I'm turning to Vivi cause he was such a sweetie and it was easy to feel like he did, sadness, joy, anger... All his deep thoughts felt real.

And... I ^LOVED^ Kuja's personality as a bad guy. (Can't be compared to Sephiroth thought. )

Zidane, Freya, and Dagger. But Zidane most of all.

He just rocks. Good fighter in battle, good character with a nice story to follow. Totally fell in love with his character... but I've said it all before, so I won't rave again. ;)

Tie between Freya and Vivi

hmm... I think i may be the worlds only Quina fan. Quina reminded me of Cait Siths stuffed toy.

Well I can't lie to myself and say I don't like Zidane the best. I just couldent help myself that cute face and that hair mmmm. But as a close second, I like Kuja. Zidane and Kuja ahhhhhh*grins*

I guess Amarant or Steiner was my favorite. Amarant is a badass, and Steiner is pretty funny in some places.

Zidane was my favourite character. He had a lot of really funny moments in the game, and his tail really was the cutest thing. xD

Ok, I liked Wolverine in X-men, especially I liked him because of his claws -- Amarant has similiar weapon, hence my favourite character. And Freyja? I don't know, but.. a female character equipped with a spear, need I say more?

the characters i liked most would have to be beatrix and kuja but i also thought that blank and (i'm probably one of the only ones to say this) zorn and thorn they were cool :)

I agree with Brandy, Beatrix is the best character, I believe ever create by square but about Zorn and Thorn I liked them but not as Meltigemi. Kuja best bad guy ever.

Besides Beatrix, Eiko is the best reminds me of my cousin. Her Eidolions were the best especially Madeen and Fenrir

Hmm...tought decision...I mean, all the characters were great and awesome in some way...but as you could tell from my pervious alias, I think garnets would have to be my favorite...because she's very sweet, loyal and caring...and thinks of everyone before her. Ain't that something?

i liked vivi alot and steiner cuz they were strong and then when i was in pandemonium i had to use zidane and he was weak and so he died so u really have to use him alot

i think beatrix rocks 2 but steiner is better cuz he is with u 4 the whole game and so u get beatrixs moves her sword and u can use magic sword:D

I liked Freya, Zidane, Dagger, and Eiko was entertaining. I'd call her the Yuffie of FF IX. And for the others, I like them for their personalities- especially Zidane's.

no way!! Sephiroth is way better than Kuja. My favorite characters would be Dagger since I can relate to her a lot ('cept that im not a princess.. darn), Freya because her story is so sad the same with vivi and Zidane.

Zidane, Garnet, Freya, Eiko are my favorites.

Vivi was my favorite playable character the first time through, and I also was really fond of Beatrix.

Every time I replay the game though, I like Garnet/Dagger more and more.

Eiko is by far my favorite (hence the name). I don't know why. I always like the heroine with the smaller role (Yuffie, Selphie, Rikku, etc.). Although in VIII my fave is Rinoa. But, back to Eiko. Eiko is the most useful. She has eidolons (the good ones, except some), and she has the best wht mag. She also has the funniest lines, like all my favorite characters. Like, when you first go to Terra, and Mikoto wants to speak with Zidane, and she's like "Zidane, come with me...". That's when my fave line appears: Eiko says, "Where are they going!? What a BIMBO!" I mean, ya gotta love that. SHE'S ONLY SIX!! It's hilarious.

..Kuja is cool, but hes.. so feminine looking. I really thought that was a woman at first.

All the charcters in IX were likeable IMO. But if I had to choose my favorite then it would be Freya, because she seems to be a pretty balanced charcter. With good attacks and her healing move (Reis's Wand) she is pretty useful IMO. I also liked her emotions regarding Burmecia.

Vivi, definetely. He has an interesting personality, _and_ he's a black mage! What more could I want??

My favorite is Vivi i like how his character developed throughout the game!

My fav characters in this game were Eiko and Vivi. Both of them have excellent personalities and development. Eiko provides comedy where Vivi provides a more serious personality. I luv'd seeing how they grew during the game.

I guess I'll have to pick Amarant Corale and Vivi. Amarant is mysterious while Vivi is simply adorable. Yeah.

My favorite is Dagger. I started to like her in Iifa tree when they faced to Kuja. She wants to protect her mother(Brahne) though Brahne extracted her Eidolons and want to kill her. I like her gratefulness.
I also like Vivi Zidane and Quina. Vivi is so cute and have many rock magics. Zidane's tail is very cute. And Quina always make me laugh.

Hes the best Hero main character in all of Final Fantasy (But Tidus is my fav Main Character) cause really a hero helps ppl right? and Zidane quotes "You dont need a reason to help people"
and also a real hero thinks of the safty of others b4 his own, and i beleive Zidane does that.

My favorite character for battles is Amarant. And he's not as mean as it looks in the beginning. At the end of the game you can tell he is not. That's something I like about him too. ;)

Well come on now, it wasn't that bad. I actually thought the characters and the enemies were really nicely developed. Even the ones not involved in the game. I think that the coolest person ever is Vivi and Garnet. Vivi cause hes gangster and all you know it. Garnet because she has the cute, funny, im the stupid princess type lol (she's not dumb just the stuff she says sometimes... =-O ) And then Steiner there for comic relief. Beautiful.

it was at the spot where garnet was raised and it has the pictures of summons on a wall ....i cant remember the name of the place....but when they were leaving there zidane referred to Quina as "Her"

Blank and Beatrix all the way Woo-Hoo! lol. It's strange but people who have less eyesight and weild a sword so well, are just generally cool. None of the playable characters were actually that interesting, except maybe freya who was springy, and i find that incredibly horny and atractive in a 5 foot tall rat...

Quina was funny....Then again all the charcters were good in the own way
