While i don't always like the games, the music that's written by Nobuo Uematsu is absolutly amazing.
I downloaded a lot of the sheet music off of ffmusic.ffshrine.org, which was how i was introduced to this cite.i have music varying from FF VII to FF X.
Now my favorite piece is Zanarkand which happens to be the intro piano piece at the very begining when it's loading the menu. it's an absolutely beautiful work and is fairly easy to play still.
Hint: if you don't know the name of the song look it up at [URL="http://www.ffmusic.ffshrine.org"]
i leave the rest to you

Kids Run Through the City--VI

Is the word Corner at the end? Who knows, half the time it's listed, half the time it isn't.

This is definitely a hard decision to come to. The choices are certainly endless.

If I had to single one out it would have to be:

The Man with the Machine Gun (Final Fantasy 8)

I can't really think of a piece of music written by Nobuo Uematsu that I dislike.. he comes out with very good pieces of music most of the time, imo.

ff1 (remake)

ff6:

The Man with the Machine Gun (Final Fantasy 8)

Without going on a huge in-depth exploration of all of my FF soundtracks to figure out which one I like best, I would definitely have to agree with you on that one. It's fantastic. :)

Nobuo Uematsu is an amazing composer, I don't care who says he's overrated. He has had a few things I've disliked, but that's not too bad considering he has been the one composer for almost all FF games, as well as some others. He's got a lot of material and most of it is very good.

The Oath - FF8

Its not so cool in game but listen to it when played by an orchestra (e.g tour de japan) Such a powerful piece, it gives many others a run for their money IMHO.

Tina? Sorry, but in English it's called Terra's Theme. Plus, sounds better.

Fave piece is Clash on the Big Bridge, what other piece inspires such awe?
