Actually, that's not true. You can get any weapon, regardless of whether you have the appropriate magazine, as long as you have the needed parts and the required Gil.

Dragon Skin- also sometimes dropped in large quantities by Malboros when they don't drop Malboro Tentacles.

I have all the weapons but I was wondering if there was an easy way of getting energy crystals.

I think you can steal them from Elnoyles, you can also Card Mod them from ten Elnoyle cards...(I think it's ten,but you can find that out easily bt yourself)

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Err, no, you can't Mug Energy Crystals from Elnoyles. ;) However, at L40+ (yes, it's L40+, not 30+ like most other enemies in the world) they will drop 2-3 Energy Crystals after battle every time. Having 100 Deaths junctioned to ST-Atk will hit most of the time, so you can get them very quickly.

Elnoyles are rare enemies and so hard to find, but there is one place you can always find them. From the Airstation, come towards you for 2 screens (which should be near the entrance to Odine's Lab), and then go up (away from you). There will be a person standing on the path to the right. Talk to him and you get an Elnoyle to fight. Then if you leave this screen and come back, the man will be there again. So getting Energy Crystals is easy. :D

I thought it was something like that, but I haven't played FF*vVII in over a year...and if yo do steal from them,then you won't get the droppd item.....I as thinking backwards earlier...

As I remember i mugged Some energy crystals form a monster (can't remember the name because I haven't played it in ages) The ball like robot that has four pipes...

That's an Elastoid. But you can't get Energy Crystals from those. You're probably thinking of a Laser Cannon, which you can mug from one which is Level 30 or above.

Maybe...as I said..It's been a while since I last played the game...so I totally forgot....
And I'm not thinking about playing it again (because I didn't like FF8 and 10 as much as the rest of the series)..

Although it may be a little cheap, all you have to do is buy the guide and it tells you all you want about how to get the weapons and what is needed to make them. You can purchase any of the mags at any game store near you, for only $19.99!

In regards to finding energy crystals, there is an easier way, though it is tricky, and painstakingly slow. (I did this, and I had Lionheart for Squall right after you can take off in Balamb Garden, in disc 2.)

On the Centra continent, where Edea's orphanage is located, head towards the big desert, and you'll come across some forests. Head towards the forest which looks like a hammer and park Garden, then head into the forest. Run around the forest for awhile and you'll come across some enemies called, Blitz (The ones which use Thunder magic on themselves, so when you attack them, your character take damage), who every once in awhile, once you beat them they drop 1-2 energy crystals, sometimes you can steal them from Blitz as well, but just wait for them to drop them. As I said before, I did this, and I had Lionheart as well as having Irvine's pulse ammo as well.
