Cool.

But, I own the DVDs so...

But, to everyone else...it's a good little side series.

Thanks! I haven't watched this show in forever (since it ran on Adult Swim) and have been wanting to re-watch it.

Here's a great Gundam site. Just finished watching Stardust Memory on it. The only annoying thing is that if you watch full screen, Mega Video prevents you from watching more than 72 min of video for 52 minute intervals. To get around this, just watch the videos in the small window, on the screen right after you select an episode to watch.

I'm glad I have the DVDs, mega video's video quality leaves much to be desired. It's ok for previewing things, but it's not something I'd use exclusively for watching. I've downloaded better quality fansubs.

Gundam 0083 is the Top Gun of the Gundam series, literally it's like the movie Top Gun.

I was originally planning on buying the DVD's for a while now, but I just never got down to doing it. I'm happy that there is such a Gundam site as that one though, with such good quality videos. Also I just connect my computer to my TV to watch them, so I don't think I'm going to by the DVD's.

0083 is one of the best. BUT, imo not quite as good as my favourite, 08th M.S. Team. <3

I love 0083. I'm glad I bought the dvds too. GP0-2A is so badass I had to buy the figure of it.

I typed "Kou Uraki" into Google images, and this () came up....Yeah. I guess Kou kinda let himself go, after defeating Gato...

Yes, he let himself go. But if you remember Kou didn't beat Gato in the end, Gato had Kou pinned and down. Kou was at Gato's mercy and Gato let him go, probably for Nina's sake. The Solar System weapon could have easily fried them both but it didn't so some one moved them both out of the line of fire, seeing Gato had the upper hand I figured it must have been him.

Gato's end came and he took a Federation cruiser out with him, in a blaze of glory. That Neue Ziel mobile armor was one of the most awesome mecha from Gundam series. It doesn't have the fire power of the later UC Gundam time line mobile armor the Rafflesia, but it's awesome none the less.

It's prob the best side story of the Gundam.

I think it's better than a few main...but that's me.

0083 was a great OVA, but it's a shame tough... the garbera tetra only appear in a small scene, just like kampfer in 0080 :D

Can vaguely remember it from toonami/adult swim. I really enjoyed it but the plot was confusing, how was Zion planing on regaining there strength by pissing off earth with another colony drop? And what's with the hole betrayal thing of "Ah Hah! instead of secretly working with a branch of the federation government to advnce Zion's goals I've killed the guy who planed it and now I'M the one working with them to advance Zion's goals." that the one guy pulled?

I get my stuff mixed around, but isn't Stardust memory just about revenge?

It's not about Zion getting back strength, it's about the fallen Spacers getting back at the Earth.

BTW: Another good side is 'War in the Pocket', it's short but rather depressing.

Also, if anyone is interested, I know a place where you can find a lot of Gundam series subbed.

Actually I have seen 0080 recently.
<a href="http://s834.photobucket.com/albums/zz261/View_Meister/Gundam/?action=view¤t=1250608255918.jpg" target="_blank">

As well as the first series 0079, 08th MS Team, Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden One-Year War, Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2 Gravity Of The Battlefront, & Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: Apocalypse 0079.

Next will be 0083, then Zeta, ZZ, and I think Char's Counter Attack finishes the Universal Century story arch.

I get most of my stuff online from Anime Stop http://anime-stop.webs.com/apps/blog/ Which often has BOTH subs & dubs on the same file. Sadly becouse at the time 0079 haden't yet been released on DVD in Japan the orignal japanese dub wasn't on the US DVDs for fear of reverse importing. So if you could post the site I would like to at least download the deleted episode of 0078.

BTW, Watching the endlish dub with the subtitles for the japanese dialogue is pretty awesome.

pspiso is a forum like this one, but there's a lot more than just games on it.
I DL most of my anime from it.
