This is the soundtrack to the new DS game from Square Enix called Sigma Harmonics. It is very similar to other Masashi Hamauzu soundtracks with heavy piano and violin usage. There is also electonic influence that reminds me of Opoona. The sound quality on this is fantastic (does not sound like a DS OST)

And it not sounding like DS quality is probably due to a recent trend in Square's soundtracks: Square has taken to releasing the original music--not the compressed music actually used in the games. Examples: The World Ends with You, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII.
