http://rapidshare.com/files/148435237/CGR2O2.rar.html
Hi all, here is the second soundtrack for the second season of Code Geass. If you want the other soundtracks from the series check out my other thread here.
Thread 59160
If you've never heard Kotaro Nakagawa's music I highly recommend it if you like music that is orchestral with a lot of movement and occasional synth twist.

I hope this is not meant to be hostile. Because I wasn't (the winking smiley meands tongue in cheek generally).

Nah dude im just going along with you. I think its great to have everyone be able to mark symphonic things for the benefit of the site. Personally I would have a rule that everyone mark every ost as the type of music it is.

It's something I hope since a long time.

Sirus, just finished listening to it. Well, I can say without hesitation that it's my favourite Nakagawa score. This is a truly high quality orchestral ost. This guy is one of the best anime composers in the market.

A special mention for the (numerous) breathtaking action cues.

Edit: this opinion includes the first part of the ost, it's aimed at the whole season 2 of Code Geass.

I think i still like gun x sword more, however, I do think R2ost2 is a lot better than R2 ost1.

For those who've seen the ending, did anyone notice the song that sounded a bit like Karl Jenken's Adiemus? Is this track on any of the OSTs?

If this is the last ost to come out then there is a song missing from all of them. Its the song from the second episode of R2 when Zero is using the black knights to attack the nightmares of Britanna. It was used in the first season as well but its not on any of the soundtracks.

Note that Hitomi Kuroishi actually wrote a good number of the cues on each Code Geass score. Surprisingly some of my favorite cues are not by Kotaro Nakagawa. You can see who wrote which one on VGMDB.
