Well in Europe and Australia, we've got Final Fantasy Anthology Recently, and I managed to complete both games in a week!
But both very good, for some reason I found that FF IV and V had better graphics than VI.

Anyway both have very good gameplay (especially IV), and good classics. :D
Also you can see where some of the later FF's got ideas from.

Compare the enemy art in the three games and you'll know why VI seemingly lost in other areas...

Anyway, I personally think the older FFs are better than the newer ones. Square just put too much effort into graphics and not enough into story or gameplay in the newer ones. Also, I like IV ability system so much more than the other FFs its almost pathetic. Not only do you have to work for more abilities by leveling, but also everyone has their own specific abilities, some without spells, making it so you really have to work on battle strategies.

I'm just lucky to find FFA when I did... trying to find one now at a decent price is almost impossible (offline that is).

I ended my 5 month search a month ago... 30 dollars I paid! It was a nice deal.... and I played until my fingers fell off once again.

I just recently snagged a copy online off of EB, and the only thing I was worried about was the horrible load times that everyone talks about, but they really aren't that bad. The game is worth it anyway.

Nice to know their ability to draw you totally into the game so you live and breathe it was present early on in the series

Hell yeah! Final Fantasy V is pretty addictive in that there are an endless combination of possible jobs and abilities to give your characters. I say it was definitely worth my twenty English pounds for THAT game alone, and I haven't even touched Final Fantasy IV yet...
