I sold all of my CD's to a DJ and then realised i'd left most of my Videogame OST's in with them. I did back them up onto my laptop as mp3's but at 128 kbps so the quality is low.

I managed to locate most of my lost soundtracks but some are still missing. Here is the list:

Check Galbadia Hotel, you might find some of the OSTs you are looking for. As for Resident Evil 2, check GoronMoron's music thread, he owns an album called "RE2 - Complete Track" (which contains 2 CDs). This album is also available at Galbadia Hotel.

Are you sure you had physical copies of all these soundtracks? Looking at the list of soundtracks requested, the way the soundtracks are listed, and your preference for them to be in lossless format, it seems like you only ever had low-quality rips of those soundtracks.

The biggest indication would be that quite a few of the soundtracks listed never received an official soundtrack release, so if a lossless format does exist, it would be an audio rip from a game rather than an audio CD. If that's the case, then you should have stated that you lost your games and not your music CDs.

I had physical copies of some of them, the rest were rips that I got from other sites. I burned the rips to discs and made covers for them - those I can replace.

I have put ***missing*** next to the originals I owned and have not been able to replace yet. Those are the ones I want in a lossless format because I now they were released on CD.

If that's the case, did you recover the "Sonic the Hedgehog 10th Anniversary" album yet? I wanted to buy into the Sonic series a while ago, but some of those soundtracks were pretty expensive. The rate for the Anniversary soundtrack was around $70 when I checked up on it a while back -- I'm just curious if the price has increased on that album. Not a fan of the Silent Hill series, either, but I'm sure the older soundtracks are pretty expensive, too.

By the way, was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ever released on CD? Or were you referring to Sonic Adventure 2?

Thankfully the Sonic 10th Anniversary CD and my Silent Hill collection were in another box so I've still got them. I think I paid �50 for the Silent Hill OST on import and around �40 for Silent Hill 2 and 3 OST (not sure how many $$$ that is)
