Hi!
The limited edition contains a soundtrack DVD in 5.1. But all tracks on this DVD are contained in the game, so a gamerip will give you everything and even more :)
The same applies to the music of the Addon (Curse of the Dragon).
I suppose you have the gamerips?
There is however new music in the making for a fan-made modification to the game.

EDIT: Deleted all future post not containing any factual information which could be valuable to other board members for clarity. Mods may delete these posts if they wish :)

Yes i have the game rip but there are some sfx, that's why i'm looking for the OST which is without sfx and much more better.

There are no sfx in the music files from the game because you can directly access the mp3-files. The OST is identical to the music 4extracted from the game, aside from containing actually MORE music.
I have just checked it (I have the 1701 DVD, CD and the ful game music along with everything from the addon). Trust me :)

Which version you have? i have the 49 track game rip (99 minutes) and i listen some sfx, for example, track 21 Windmill in the Green Field, at 0:46 pay attetion.

49 tracks at 99 minutes is correct. In the cue you mentioned at 0:46 there is a sound of some string player clucking his bow, this is no SFX. The same applies to the CD and DVD, 100% sure. I even compared the waveforms^^ The effects are physically separated from the music in the game because of the sound algorithm needing a clean file for 3d positioning.

Wait Wait, you have the DVD soundtrack?

I have the music extracted from the game, the limited edition DVD (at the moment I don't have it because my girlfriend has^^) and I have the CD. The DVD is 5.1, the CD is stereo. The files on the DVD and the CD can be found in the Anno folder, along with more music. If you have 49 mp3-files then you have everything there is. The files on the disks are NOT altered compared to the files in the game, it's really the same.
EDIT: And I have the music for the addon, too.

Sorry if i stress you, so you have the original soundtrack on cd?

Adras

Yes, that's what I said :) And I can assure you, it is exactly the same as it is in the game itself.
The same applies to the music of the addon.

It is pointless to upload the tracks. Simply make a copy of your 49 files and order them according to the tracklisting below, deleting everything that is not on the cd. All tracks are absolutely identical to the game tracks.

A New World 2:39
Beautiful Day 2:23
Apples In Trees 2:31
Enter The City 2:16
Rich Merchants 1:16
Catch The Rabbit 2:22

To me is not. I'm looking for this OST for two years, but i will not stress you anymore, i if you don't want to me is ok, i just asked you a favor.
Every OST have a better sound than the rip, and the last two tracks (combat tracks) starts very bad. By the way, thanks for all.

I really don't know why you don't want to share the OST.
This is a website where you can ask (Request) and you can share (Download Links), a lot of people asked a soundtrack from a game, like for example WoW: Taverns of Azeroth, and i put it in share, that should be normal.

You don't make me angry :) I know how you feel; as a collector myself I always think "there has to be more music". In this special case, there isn't, that's what I'm trying to tell you.
By the way: If you like 1701, you'll surely like Paraworld and Spellforce 2 by the same composer. Do you have those scores? Especially Spellforce is beautiful.

But sorry, you gave me the rip with 49 tracks.
I asked you the OST with 32 tracks.
I already have the rip, maybe there is been a miss understand.

Adras

Ok, I'll say it again: There is no difference between the tracks on cd and the tracks in the game, believe me. In fact all tracks in the archive uploaded by me are ripped from the cd. The few that aren't, are from the game folder. Start the game and look for yourself, its true.
Delete that tracks that aren't originally on the CD (tracklist see above) and reorder them according to the tracklist and you have your OST.
There is no misunderstnading, I have written above that I uploaded all 49 tracks because I'm uploading it for everyone and I suppose these people want all of the music.

EDIT: And the archive uploaded by me is NOT the "gamerip" you will find on some sites, I extraced the files personally from the cd/the game, so it is NOT the "rip". It just happens to have the same number of songs because these are all songs that are available.

Adras, thanks for ripping the DvD, but i got a question:

As a collector, i am also trying to get that 32 tracks album complete, i have perfectly understand about the dvd-rip and the ost situation.
I downloaded your 49 tracks album and now trying to get that 32 tracks album in order... but ..

Looking at the name of the tracks, i am now missing 2 tracks..
"To The Shores 2:07"
"Battleground 2:17"

Since there is no track with these names, i want to be sure i take the good ones, could you help me/us with that?
(in other words.. whichs tracks from the 49 version correspond to the 32 tracks)?

I still does not get the point why do a 32 tracks albums while having 49 available music... oh well..
Thanks ;)

I'm very sorry, I forgot to add those "missing" tracks:
"To the shores" is called era_a_new_world in the complete score. I know its a few secongs shorter, but that's because on the cd a small gap was inserted.
"Battleground" is called combat_loop_battle.
I really don't know why they changed the titles, though^^

As to why the album is so "short": I suppose the DVD was full, but again I don't really know. Maybe it was an artistic decision.
Even more interesting to me is the question why the tracks are numbered 1 to 51 in the game, but two files are missing alltogether. :)

Because if i'm looking for the Original Soundtrack it means that i want the Original Soundtrack, not a rip, also if the rip is the same.
There are some cues that are shorter (in the rip) like A New World in the rip is 2:37 while in the OST is 2:39. Battleground, in the rip is 2:12, in the OST is 2:18...now tell me, what is better? To me is better 2:18.
Is difficult to explain, but is just this: if i ask the OST it means that i want the OST, because i'm not a rip collector, i'm an OST collector. That's all.

I know what you mean, but i asked you the OST, you gave me the game-rip, that i already have. While the only thing that i was looking for was the OST, i don't care if in the rip there is more music.
I have Paraworld game rip (which is very well ripped) but i'm still looking for the OST. Now you can't tell me that the 49 tracks rip is the OST, because is not, the 49 tracks rip is a rip. I don't want to reorder tracks from the rip to have the OST, what i want is the DVD Soundtrack rip, which i find.

You can buy the Paraworld CD at http://s165579066.e-shop.info/ along with a few other Dynamedion titles.
As I dont know how good your German is a little hint: If you order at least two items from the store, you get the soundtrack to "Spellforce - The Breath of Winter" for free.

I suppose shipping can be arranged for you if you just contact the people; as they have a subsidy of their company in the USA and surely have to send these people things, it should be no problem to send you a package regardless of where you live. Just ask them :)
