Does anyone have the soundtrack for the new Star Wars The Force Unleashed Video Game? I understand that there is a Promo floating around somewhere. Does anyone have it?

I hope that someone manages to make a full rip at some point (although that's gonna be difficult, as the score is interactive, just like in good old iMUSE-times).

It would be odd if LucasArts opted not to release an official soundtrack.
But that's probably how it's gonna be. The problem with most SW-game-soundtracks is the fact that they contain some of the original themes John Williams wrote for the music. And everytime those are used in a game - even if they're used in newly composed pieces - they have to be licensed for just that use. That means that they would have to be licensed AGAIN for a commercial album release, and from what I understand the legal situation gets a lot more complicated there.

On the other hand, if TFU is handled somewhat similar to the multimedia-release of "Shadows of the Empire" (which DID get a soundtrack-album release), maybe it does work out.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I was wondering about the music that played in the trailer after the demo, its the song that plays for most of the trailer I think, and it sounds really epic. Does anyone know what song i'm talking about? If you do, what's it called?

Holy crap, that is the most torturous thing! That was one of the best Non-John Williams Star Wars scores I've ever heard, and it's too fricken dang short. Mark just captures so well the spirit of John Williams, it's amazing! I'd love to hear an extension of the Love Theme; that 1 minute and 13 second track was really torturous! I want to hear more! More! More! MORE!

If not an official release then perhaps a gamerip might be possible ;)?
