Before I provide the link to this file, I'm going to tell you a little story.

It all started with a file I found on the internet that had no name, and no identifying information. I wanted to know who did it, so I researched the source for a few hours, and eventually discovered the name of the group: Spinwake. After that, I started Googling as much as I could, and successfully found a couple sound samples... and that the band broke up a couple of years ago.

Depressed that I found a new artist who's no longer producing music, I pressed on to find downloads. Eventually, I did, but they were on a Spanish website, and translators don't work for it because it involves a lot of code. Not only that, but registration was required, and the files had to be downloaded one by one, using links that are E-Mailed to you.

This took me, probably, four to five hours to identify, find, compile, and rename appropriately.

I hope someone else finds the effort worthwhile and enjoys this four track single from this seemingly unknown band!

Not a single comment? Aw.

Well, for those who haven't downloaded it yet, I'll make some associations. If you like any of the following:

Ellegarden
Back-On
Asian Kung Fu Generation

You'll probably like Spinwake.

Oh god, I heard the first 10 seconds of the first song, and knew it was instant win. *gives you an internet*

(Also, the Tales series is most excellent.)

Isn't it a shame? They do have a whole album outside of this single, but I don't have that yet.

Yes indeed it is Maverick Hunter X's japanese theme. Interesting how all the themes for the japanese megaman games have real performed songs while the english ones have computerized techno.

Interesting how all the themes for the japanese megaman games have real performed songs while the english ones have computerized techno.

I believe the reason for this is the cost to create a techno theme that sounds like the songs is much lower than the fee to pay to use a licensed song. Listen to the song "One More Time" by Kotono Shibuya, which is used for the animated intro for X3 & the techno theme for the US and Europe and you'll see how similar they are.
