My friends would say I've got a talent for the Metal Gear Solid series cos I like to plant C4 on guards chests and without triggering alert status. Dunno if that's technically "scary good". Also have a habit of running through Extreme Mode undaunted (mostly).

Redbat, another Syphon Filter 2 cowboy? I used to totally run that game. Headshots all the way.

No, these were patrolling guards without the use of any such special items. I first did it in MGS:VR Missions C4 Weapon Mode, where you have to plant a charge on a guard to remove a stubborn camera. Two of my friends were watching at the time and as you know there are no tranqs in that particular game at least. Didn't plan on it, the peon just happened to turn around on me seconds before I hit the button and he never saw me as that would have aborted the trial. I'm pretty sure that's the key to it. It's a story my friends still brag about, I'm proud to say. Since then, it's always been my own fun little challenge to repeat the circumstances in the following games, not to say I've pulled it off perfectly every time. But I have pulled it off with some degree of regularity and without the assistance of those oh so helpful special items. Nevertheless, it's flattering to hear such disbelief as I can now think that might just be considered scary good.

Star Fox 64 was the big one for me. I could easily take on any three of my friends in a 3v1 battle in multiplayer. I also had huge high scores in the single player campaign.

I've always been pretty good at the Mario Kart games too.

The El Nino car is ezmode in NFS3. Kind of like playing Akuma in SF.

I used to be pretty handy at Starcraft. As a 'toss player, I had a mean 3-gate rush and my 'sair rush was pretty rape on islands and muta-happy Zergies.

Used to be good at Tekken Tag Tournament between the ages of 8-11 (can't exactly remember but somewhere around there).

Right now, I guess Halo 3 (which I plan on getting rid of if Bungie will stop worrying about the modded images and worry about getting their game running better in the next update), Guitar Hero 3, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (on the 360).

Thanks for reminding me. I was one of those people who found Guitar Hero to be ridiculously easy, though I haven't played the third instalment. After achieving as many perfect playthroughs as possible in GH1, I went through GH2 on expert mode without breaking a sweat mostly. I will admit the number of perfect songs was substantially less that time since I abandoned the game (and the series) at that point.

Man, I haven't been really excellent at a game in the better part of a decade. The last time it happened was in Starsiege: Tribes. I was probably the third best sniper to ever grace the game, and likely the best flag runner among all the competitive clans playing the Renegades mod.

It's a shame the people still playing the game don't have any of the skills the people I used to play against had. It makes the game so easy that even if I wanted to go back, it would be pointless.

The 3d bombermans, to me, just felt very different. I suppose the mechanics were still the same, but the gameplay in bomberman 64 just felt different and the camera angle of the grid. The classic bomberman was birds-eye view and straight down. Also, Bomberman 64 is much better than Bomberman Hero; the game play in that one was too awkward but unique in a way.

I also thought I was decent at playing marvel vs. capcom 2 using either psylocke, strider, and jill for speed or strider, guile, and hayato for more defensive.

I like seeing that there are other Syphon Filter 2 killers :) I used to play it with my friend day and night, after we got so good it was pointless using any other gun than the pistol. A machine gun would take more time to aim, so after a time it was all headshots with the pistol... Ah... that where good times...

As for the PC I was seen as a cheater at Quake 3, as I could mow down 7 players easily in a deathmatch, even if they would group up trying to kill me... Ah... that where good times...

Now I rock WarHammer 40K DoW Soulstorm with the Tau. I play only on INSANE and kill my enemies under 15 minutes. BUAHAHA!

By the way, does someone know how to play Warhammer 40K online while having an warez/illegal version of it? I would like to kill some humans on the web, the PC is no more match for me...
