ok, ive had 3D studio max for 2 days now and ive created 2 things in that time.

all i can say is OMG this is hard to do; there are about million menus and you are just lost. lol. everything is different from a 2D program, you have 4 windows oepn instead of 3, each showing a different view or camera (depending if you are using one or not).

but here is what i just made now:

nice. the bg/fog/whatever that is looks a bit odd, but other than that it's pretty well done. kudos on the textures. oh, and if the 3 windows bug you, try bryce instead of 3dstmax... you can't do as much with it, but it's easier to learn on.

Bryce is fun, but thats about it. It has nothing on 3D sud max.

Im currently learning flash, but when Im done I plan to work on it as well, currently Im only at the confused stage though...Its truly an immense program.

Hey, it looks pretty cool. I've never used the program before so I'm very impressed. There's also this other program called poser or something, that allows you to do people in 3D. I'm pretty good with flash, paintshop pro, and photoshop, but when it comes to 3D programs, I'm a total newbie.

i dont find the windows hard, it just takes time to ajust to it.

and yeah, the fog turned out a little weird, i made another render which had some good smoke in the backround.

heres the url for it:
