Thanks Ben. I'll download when I have fastnet.
I played the demo version of ATD in a downtown electronics botique. It was awesome. But ATD is rated R so I was wondering if they were allowed to have it on display.

you're welcome.
Sadly I thought the new alone in the dark game was.... a little to glitchy for my taste.

Thanks for the upload!

Incidentally, this track list is from the sample CD that was sold with the 360 version of the game, and bundled with the European Limited Edition. The full score is over 20 tracks.

Just FYI. :)

I recently finished the PS3 version of the game, which is vastly improved over the others. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time with it, and consider it to be one of the most memorable games I've played in this current gen of consoles.

The official soundtrack CD was posted in this other thread (Thread 55491), btw. Phenomenal music.

I agree, Moriya. Despite some pretty sloppy bugs in the game's code, it's one of my favorite PS3 games, and much better than the version released on other platforms.

It's just a pity about the ending. Both "The Path of Light" and "The Path of Dark" are wholly unsatisfying. It just sort of stops, leaving things hanging for a sequel.

I recently ordered the European Limited Edition from Game.co.uk. Got it for the PC, as I can't play region 2 Wii or region 2 360 games. I mostly ordered it for all the special content (including this teaser CD). Can't wait to get it.

I rather liked that aspect, to be honest. Both endings were in keeping with the overall tone of the game, and there's something refreshing about a game which doesn't bother with the whole notion of a "final boss." The entire thing was leading up to that single choice which would save or condemn humanity. And in the end, that's really what humanity's conflict with evil is all about: choice. The only real failing there is that you're not really stuck with the choice you make... ie. it's a simple matter to go back to the final sequence and make the other choice. That takes away from the gravity of the scene, but that's honestly a failing of the medium, not the game itself.

The official release has more than 20 tracks, but it's not "full" ;) Deriviere composed around 300 minutes of music for that game ;)

Yeah, I read somewhere -- maybe on Deriviere's website? -- that he wrote damn near four hours worth of music for the game. That's why I'm so keen on a full score rip. It's a shame that this didn't get (at least) two discs for the official release. It's cracking stuff, some of the best game music I've heard in a long while.

Has anyone heard the liver performances that were done late last year? It's beautifully realized by a full orchestra and the Mystery of the Bulgarian Voice. I've seen video on YouTube, but it appears to have been taken down.

Yea I know but that is all I had at the moment.
At the time I I didn't see the soundtrack on galbadia here so I gave us a little something.

MoriyaMug-Thanks for the link.
