I have most my characters between 25 and 28 and Vaan at 33.
I'm up to Stillshrine of Miriam. I'm looking for a place to level all characters to around 35 with some alright loot to make some Gil to hook them all up with the best gear and weapons.

Well, I don't know if it's the best place, but you should get fairly decent experience if you fight the monsters in the two areas before the Stillshrine.

Thanks Slavka I ended up levelling my characters in Golmore Jungle. Decent XP and great item drops and steals from the Courel and other monsters, ended up with 160K Gil after getting my characters a couple of levels each to get them all on 30 except Vann is on 33 already.

I know have all my characters on 32 or 33 and Vann on 37.
Were's a good place to level and get good loot?
At the moment I'm on Phoan Coast.

Try the Salikawood. The Pumpkinheads can drop Screamroot, which is pretty valuable. If you can, go to the Tchita Uplands as well (it depends on how strong you are) as I believe the Malboro Kings (also in the Salikawood) and the Coeurls give decent XP. I think Coeurls can drop Embroidered Tippets (double XP growth) as well, but don't quote me on that.

You steal Tippets from the Coeurls. I don't know the exact percentage, but it took me about half an hour of grinding/zoning to grab a full set of six, which isn't bad at all, considering some of the other grinding necessary...

Anyway, for levelling, the rare game Negalmuur in the Stilshrine of Miriam spawns zombies every second or third turn. With proper Gambits, you can set your controller down and come back the next day to earn serious levels. There's a guide for that on GameFAQs. I always bring this up because I get so bored grinding for levels sometimes, roffle.

Right now, I'm trying to get a Lv.99 Red Chocobo...ugh, this is soooo freaking boring.

Actually you can only steal a Tippet from the Coeurls that are in Tchita Uplands, the ones in Golmore won't have them.
HOWEVER there is a treasure chest in Mosphoran Highwaste that very commonly holds a Tippet, and it's in the Babbling Vale, so you can save there and open that chest and reload. Though I forget if the shrines need to be active for you to be able to reach it. They might be, which would rule that out as well. All I know is, when I was completing Ash Wyrm to the Bestiary and collecting Moon Rings, I kept passing that chest and got an Embroidered Tippet at least 6 times. Unfortunately it is the earliest Embroidered Tippet available, so if the shrines must be active and you haven't opened up Phon Coast to get the Moogles working on the shrines, then no Tippet yet.

I'm also trying to get a Lv99 Red Chocobo right now... haha, it is quite boring indeed, even the fastest method.

But, if you want some serious levels, in a less boring way, this method works especially if you've been doing it from the beginning: Get all the sufficient loot available and as many needed for Bazaar packages, and don't quite until you have it all. It really works, that way you're grinding and making it less boring as you're actually collecting.

I did that and was in the 50s before I even set foot in Jahara, lol

I thought the ones in Golmore were called something else? At any rate, since Slavka was talking about the Tchita Uplands, the Coeurls there were the ones I was referring to anyway. :)

I'm 99% sure that chest is the one on the other side of the wall that must be dropped. I.e., you have to have the shrines active.

Right. Well, I just noticed now that they said they were on the Phon Coast, so as soon as you set foot in the Phon Coast that activates the shrines and makes Exodus available.

I am at the end of the game and don't want to use the auto-leveling method...Where would be the best place now?

Pharos Subterra, if you can survive there. Take the Dais of Ascendance from the 1st Floor of Pharos.

Alternatively, you could try the hidden areas of the Henne Mines, although they're probably equally dangerous. Get 10 Espers and talk to Geomancer Yugelu (probably not the right name, but the Geomancer) in Jahara, and he'll send a Garif to unlock the door from the area you fought Tiamat. I think you need to have completed the Garif-related Hunts as well.

If both these areas are too strong, the Behemoths in Giruvegan give decent XP if you use an Embroidered Tippet, or you could fight the monsters around the Pharos.

How do I get to Tchita Uplands I looked on FF23Maps.com and I haven't been to any of the places surrounding Tchita Uplands, how do you get to Archades?

You said you were on Phon Coast, so you're obviously not looking very hard at the maps nor exploring very hard in the game. There is never at any point anything blocking you from Tchita. The moment you set foot in Phon Coast, Tchita is open as well.

Stilshrine of Miriam actually did prove rather difficult for me.

I really must try to play this game again.

OP hasn't been back in 2 months. Pretty sure we're done here.
