Can everyone give me their oppinion on yuna and tidus relationship.

my oppinion is:

they better make the most of it! they wont be together that long.

Just Final Fantasy X I would say its not destined that they�ll be together.

Why did Yuna have to lie to Tidus about the final summoning? Why couldn't she just tell Tidus the truth. Maybe Tidus wouldn't of been so confused at the end.

Why did Yuna marry Seymour? She already was lying about the final summoning, to Tidus. Now she is making him jealous. I don't understand why Tidus was in love with Yuna. I would of resented her for lying and marrying someone else just for moral.

Why did Yuna even fall in love. She knew she was going to die.

If you remember correctly, Yuna married Seymour in the hopes of making him confess to Jyscal's murder. Her feelings for both Tidus and Seymour had nothing to do with it.

.... you can't just say 'I am not going to fall in love!', it's not that simple.


As for my opinion, Tidus and Yuna's relationship is just a typical 'Sweet and innocent' meets 'The handsome newcomer' scenario. So cliche it makes me sick!

Yuna shouldn't have lied to Tidus, but he was not to know anyway, and anyway, even if he knew from the minute he left Besaid that Yuna would eventually die (considering she used the Final summoning of course)..Would he have taken it any differently?

I don't think so.
But Yuna should have told him. But Lulu and everyone even Kimhari should have told him.

Personally, the relationship between Yuna dn Tidus is really sweet, but there are still a few boundaries that they have to overcome. For example. I only think that Yuna only likes Tidus because he's her dead fathers guardian's son...(Jeez......LAWL)

But I think kthey are really sweet looking couple.

Like Cloud would look like with Tifa so to speak.
But I think that if they did make a go of it, personally I'd think it would be short lived :D

I think their relationship development is quite abrupt. I means they seem so huss-huss about it in for 50% of the game and then bang! You get that love-in-lake scene. They could use a some more scenes before that to show the development.

I prefer Tidus and Rikku really. Rikku reminds me of a sweeter Tifa but can still kick ass.

Why, oh why did he choose a worthless slave like Yuna? I don't know, we have to bare with it unfortuantely.

You can always do your own fanfiction of who Tidus should be with to make yourself happy or make your own game.

Been awhile since I played it, but for alot of the game, didn't all the other Guardians think he knew already, but was only trying to like lightening the mood or something?

On Tidus/Yuna, didn't spend enough time together, kinda bland, not that epic..but hey, why not?

According to FFX-2 their relationship grows from mild to hot, especially evident of what is shown during the ending cinemas when they hug.

They are soulmates, it just took time for the sleeper to gradually awaken so they could become more attached. Keep in mind they were in the midst of a life threatening journey, they had to first save the world before settling down in a marriage.

Probably one of the best in the series.
I really didn't get what all the commotion was about with Squall and Rinoa. When i first played it i was like WTF?! I mean Squall wasn't even into her until disc 3! And don't say he was and just couldn't say it!
On the other hand what we have between Tidus and Yuna, is great. They actually ARE into each other and even kiss in the game. I like how the whole thing progressed. they were both very much in love but couldn't do anything about it because, well they were in a life-threatening journey to save the world. No biggie. Anyway it was certainly one of the best if not THE best in the series.
Other than that, I liked Cecil and Rosa's relationship a lot too.

I like the love story between Yuna and Tidus. I think its one of the best. On the other hand it seems kinda fast forwarded at points. Like they rush some bits and at other bits progress slowly and develop the relationship a bit more. Ah well I'm willing to over look that

I felt that their relationship progressed the most realistically of any in the FF series honestly :D
And, since no one else will bother to mention it, Zidane and Garnet from FFIX also had a great one!
