I think that vakyrie profile, both 1 and 2, would make a great one, as long as its stick to the original plot ( I hate it when producers make up bull�$%!)

I think that the DOOM series of Games would make an enthralling anime, I would not however envision it to be an extraordinary long one however, I would think that it could last for about 70 - 85 episodes.

Gunstar Heroes (2 OVA), Shenmue (13 Ep.it s al rite), annnnnnnd....the original Rockman (Rockman 8 design) 26 episodes it s ok ^^

very personally, i think ace combat would do a great anime.
i base this after seeing gonzo'z work on the increible anime adaptation of the novel SENTOU YOUSEI YUKIKAZE.
but thats just my personal opinion and taste, because i love air combat (regardless the era, fantasy or fiction)

i think warcraft and starcraft have potential to become anime (or at the very least, a made in USA 3d cartoon, ala beast wars transformers)

Castlevaina games, mainly the ones with Simon Belmont would make a great Anime. I'm surprised no one has made one yet.

How about The Legend of Zelda? or Metroid? or Star Fox? I'm wondering why Nintendo hasn't done more with their characters. Then again, maybe they still feel burned by the Super Mario Bros. movie (which is good fun, but has little to nothing that actually resembles the games).

Yeah, that'd be cool, though I was kind of annoyed at the massive plot twist in SO3, but it'd probably work better in an anime than it did in the game.

Yeah I think it would. I was saying to my friend that SO3 could be a pretty awesome book. I really liked the story. I hated the fact that there were 7 additional endings and how you interact with characters changed the ending you'll see. Also I liked the plot twist. I found it awesome and humorous.

Always thought something from the Persona series could easily become anime. And now we have Trinity Soul.

But for a challenge let's try the Blood Omen series. Pretty epic story.

Well, yes, I believe the story would be quite incomplete without the Soul Reavers. Also, they'd probably have to rewrite the oh so awful Blood Omen 2.

after playing the 4 onimusha games in one day, i must say it could become an incredible anime if done right.

You won't get any argument from me there, but you are talking about a series that's rather well-known for running in circles with its storytelling. That particular game just happened to do it to a larger degree. It did go too far, but it wasn't unprecedented, and it had worked extremely well for the previous games.

Speaking as a life-long fan of Metal Gear....no. Just no. At least, not one based directly off of any of the games. It could be an alternate reality where people don't eat espionage and conspiracy theories for breakfast. Perhaps it could be like David Hayter has suggested for the movie, where instead of a Japanese perspective/ commentary on American military power/ militarism, it could be an American perspective/ commentary on American military power/ militarism. Hell, we could sure use some perspective (if most Americans can get over being told something they don't want to hear). If it could cut down on the talky-talky without loosing any substance and giving us some good action, then maybe it could.

But..I've always wanted to see an anime based off of Megaman Legends. Not particularly good games, but they had the right idea about a lot of things, the story was interesting and as a whole, the series has a LOT of untapped potential. Plus, the style was proto-cell-shaded and the concept art was all anime-style, so it's good to go in that regard.
Other than that, I can't think of anything that would make a good or great anime. I read Bioshock somewhere in this thread and to that person:What would it be about? Seriously? Plus, the art style, going from the game to anime? Without a sizable budget, it would probably look like crap and really the transition in styles of presentation from the game to what style anime typically is would really result in a rather boring, washed-out version of Rapture.

Shadow Hearts 1 & 2 looks good. Shadow Hearts 3 have some ridiculous characters, so its not a good idea. I believe that Shadow Hearts 2 is actually the best one of the series IMO.

Star Ocean 2 had an anime that ran on 2001, but seems that no one liked it.

Xenogears would work for like 52 episodes, xenosaga deserves a better anime, not 12 episodes of people running looking surprised........

Legend of Zelda also had an animated show, but it can only be found on betamax (its THAT old). An anime of the ocarina of time would be awesome.

I'd like to see some more of Final fantasy VIII, instead of so many FF VII prequels, sequels and whatnot.

DEFINITELY The Rapid Angel!!! Its got its own vocal opening song and it has hand drawn art style cutscenes! At times it can look humerous.:)

Killzone. I mean, it would be great if they just changed it a little bit. It's got action... Romance... Generic enemies wearing the same uniform... And a black guy. It's got everything you could want in an anime.

The Mother series would definately make a good and funny anime if done.

Well I don't know what game series I would really like to see as a anime, but I can tell you about one game series that I didn't expect a anime for but yet it does, Gradius. A 3 episode OVA series to be exact. Go figure.

Well for video games I would want to become an anime would be armored core. Two games they need to remake the animes on would be tales of symphonia and xenosaga (more-so xenosage because the original story of the game was just fine). Tales of Symphonia was a pretty good anime, however I wished they added ALOT more scenes in it. Although I think a real movie of this will come out soon, I think Halo would make a pretty decent anime if done correctly....such as basing it off the books.

The Soul Caliber series has a pretty good potential for a good action anime. Also, the Tales series would make a great fantasy anime.
