Anybody into this anime?



I'm actually enjoying it a lot. The characters are pretty fun to watch and the animation is pretty trippy at times and enjoyable. I only started watching it but so far it makes me feel like I won't ever get tired of it. Of course...things can change. Share your thoughts.

I agree, the art style is refreshing, story is fast-paced but not too fast, characters work well together to make the anime enjoyable, good music both during the show and during the opening and ending.
No real complaints.

I love this anime, as a manga it was awesome, as an anime, it is epic.

It's just amazing to see that they are rather completely faithful to the manga plotline.

Unlike most shonen anime, where they end up filling it up with useless arcs, like Bleach and Naruto.

Cat looks are the only resemblence. They are two completely different characters.

I haven't seen the anime but I like the manga.

I haven't read the manga but I will definitely start buying them next time I run into a book store. Also I really like how the anime doesn't seem to take it self TOO seriously.

I think the animation is very well done and the show itself is quite funny/actiony/violent and sticks very close to the manga, which others like one piece, naruto, and bleach don't considering how many filler episodes they have. Basd off of the manga their is alot more action coming and I always wish they updated the episodes more frequently.

I just watched episode 9...but I have a feeling they are up to episode 12 in Japan. These subbers are taking their sweet ass time lol.

I like this manga/anime (I read/watch both), the only thing I dislike is Black Star's ego, which far surpasses Naruto's.

Death the Kidd makes me laugh A LOT.

Fillers come as the anime gets too close to the manga, so they have to make up cr@p, to let the manga progress, sooo you can expect filler if the manga doesn't end soon.

I just started watching it and I love the art style for it. Death the Kid is hilarious and so is Black Star. Frankenstein is my favorite so far.

My god. The second episode with Excalibur in it must have been intended to torture the viewers lol.

I hope they never do that again. >:|

From my understanding, I hear it's the aborted bastard fetus of Naruto and Bleach.

I quit on Bleach. Naruto is still alright, but this one so far hasn't let me down. I guess we'll see how long it can go on without turning into crap.

If you want to find the combination of Naruto and Bleach, watch/read Kekkaishi instead, it's much better.

Last two episodes, 23 and 24, were pretty epic. Also, it looks like new characters will be introduced~ Let's hope they keep it going and avoid any unnecessary filler.

in short, soul eater do not want because its the next big thing. i usually never like to follow the popular anime every1's watching at any given time ya know what im sayin ?

i like both anime and manga... but the anime is funnier 'cause of kid XD i love kid!!!

I've only seen the 1st episode, but I love it! I need to watch more, it's hilarious :D

saw a couple of episodes, not the first ones so didnt really understood the story that much, but i agree, the animation is something i liked a lot.
and now im harrasing my neighbor to lend me a copy of the series.

Hey guys. I started this thread...

I stopped watching. It think I lost interest...yeah probably since I stopped watching. It's good, but then it got a bit too dragged on for me. And for the love of god...EXCALIBUR episodes are torture.

i loved both the anime and the manga but i think that the manga is far better in terms of story for sure

Love the anime despite its anticlimactic ending. I should pick up on the manga now, though.

Meh, it was more of an expansion of the characters, even the ones that where supposed to die. The manga is by FAR superior.

I just started watching. It's so funny. I first passed this show as another Naruto or Bleach, so I finally decided to see if it was worth all the hullabo. Death The Kid cracks me up

I love Soul Eater, I really love the humor and the action of it. My favorite character is Tsubaki.

The absurd, eye-rolling humor drove me absolutely crazy for the first few episodes, but I stuck with it and surprisingly ended up loving all of the characters, even with their oh so many flaws. Their rip on Naruto with the character of Black Star is fantastic.

The action is easily some of the best choreographed action I've seen in an anime for quite some time. The music, while it jumps all over the place, is solid and it has good voice acting. Even for the english version.

My only gripe is the plot. I'm about 3/4's of the way through season 2 and I'm not sure I like where it's headed. It's quickly devolving into another shonen-esque ordeal, which is sad. Especially since the intial concept was quite original.

The animation is great and characters are totally off the hook, so I would still highly recommend it. It's a rare gem.
