Hello everyone. After using these forums for a significant amount of time, and filling my music collection with several gigabytes of brilliant VGM OSTs, I have decided to show my gratitude in a materialistic way.

I present to you:
Penny Arcade Adventures 1: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness OST.

FileFactory link:
PAA1OST.rar (http://www.filefactory.com/file/d89934)

(My internet's running real slow at the moment, it took me 75 mins to upload the file).

It was directly ripped by myself from the game data files and encoded in MP3 format at CBR 128. There are several seconds of silence at the end of each track - this was a byproduct of the ripping process. There are 30 tracks in all. None are named, as I was unable to find a tracklist. However, it is the entire sound track.

Also, if you have a spare $20, the game itself is excellent, and (IMHO) well worth the money.

Enjoy!

The music in this game is really fantastic, I'll agree, but the main thing I want out of this is Final Boss. I love that song. :)

Thanks for doing this! Much appreciated!

This is awesome. Thanks!

By the way, can we get someone working on album art and track titles?

EDIT: I did some digging around. Rumor has it on the Penny Arcade forums that Jerry and Mike want to make the music available for download off of their site (source: Monday's chat). The composer (Jeff Tymoshuck) has also said that he'll be posting some samples of the music on his own site. If I receive any more updates, I'll post 'em.

Until then, I've identified a couple of the tracks based on the events they play in:

01 Final Boss (End Credits)
05 [Barbershop Quartet Battle]
08 [Opening Menu]
18 [The Silent One]
22 [Fruit F***er Battle]

Glad to see people are enjoying it. Thanks for the track names - if we get most of them, I'll probably do a re-upload. Anyone else who wishes to undertake the task is welcome also.

It's great to hear that Mike, Jerry and Jeff want some kind of distribution for the music going on - it'll be much better than mass-extracting mp3s from the game files.

Out of curiosity, could we host this somewhere else than File Factory where there are no available download slots?

My upload speed is extremely slow but I wasn't planning to do anything tomorrow anyway. I'll upload the file to Rapidshare tomorrow morning (NZ Time, right now it's 10:30pm over here).

G'night :D

Would anyone be able to upload this? I've been looking everywhere for this soundtrack, but to no avail.

Thanks a ton! I'm stoked to finally have this one. I'm curious, how did you rip this soundtrack? I've never found a way to deal with those weird file formats.

Links are dead.

Here's one that still works. Dunno if it's complete or not,but maybe there's somebody out there who's still looking for this one:
