So I'm thinking of getting a DS because they're only like $189 now, and from what I've seen, the titles are much better than those available for PSP.

Dunno what games I should get for it though. Everyone keeps talking about Phoenix Wright, so I will probably get that. Also want FFXII: Revenant Wings coz that looks good. Should I get Crystal Chronicles as well?

Any suggestions? And also, if you don't mind, please explain what type of category the game you're suggesting falls into. This will help me heaps. :)

Ultimate Jump Stars is like Smash Bros. but with the anime characters included in Jump Shonen magazines (Japan only) It also requires strategy as you create your team and what-not. I suggest reading up on it at wikipedia as it goes into much more depth.

Phantom Hourglass is the sequel to The Wind Waker for GC. It's great fun and I like how most of the controls are done with the stylus.

I'd definitely recommend Jump Super Stars as well. I've played it on my friends DS and it was very fun. If you liked Mario 64, then you'll like Mario 64 DS. My knowledge of DS games is low because I don't have one and only one of my friends do so I don't know how the ones that are out are.

Mega Man ZX and especially its sequel, ZX Advent, are both quite good too... although ZX isn't exactly the best game ever. They're Metroidvania games with classic Mega Man gameplay on top of that.

ok thanks. yeah i hear FFXII:RW is good, will definitely get that next Payday, along with PW: Apollo Justice. Bought PW: Justice for all and am currently up to the case where Maya is suspected of murder for a channeling she performed. I love the game.

My friend has that PW: Justice and I must say it looks very interesting. Both him and his girlfriend love the game.

PW:JFA is the worst of the trilogy but I guess you have to play it sometime.

The best DS game out there is easily MKDS but it's a little obsolete now that MKWii has come along. NSMB was great fun but I don't know if you'd be into that. The World Ends With You is awesome. Elite Beat Agents is good times. Hotel Dusk is pretty awesome as well.

PW:JFA made me quit the series, by the way. I guess if you like investigating uninteresting plots it can be okay but I really, really don't understand the praise the series gets. The first game was alright though and interesting stories made up for the shit-tastic monotony that the investigating sections lend themselves to.

Its just the fashion at the moment. Nothing wrong with remaking FF3 though considering hardly anyones played it.

I've got 3 and I liked it, although it gets a bit grindy from time to time and I wish the music would change up more often.

I put it down awhile ago after I got my 3rd set (?) of jobs, because I didn't feel like levelling the useful ones up.

Well, 3 is really the only remake I don't mind since most Americans haven't played it. If you have, it was probably a fan translated ROM or you could read the Japanese one.

I'm looking forward to FFIV on the DS, should be a great remake.

Next payday will probably get Revenant Wings and Silent Hill Origins (on PS2)

I hoped they remade Origins from the ground up for the PS2, but they didn't... With PSPs nowadays, you can hook it up to your TV. So I won't spend another $30 for the same game because there's nothing different about it besides shitty graphical upgrades.
