Grace's tenth studio album is just around the corner, and here is a song that have rumored to appear on that album (revamped and updated). What do you think about the song? Also, the pictures are from a photoshoot she did for UNIQUE models earlier this year. She's 60; doesn't she look amazing?

Anyway, what do you think of the song?

Grace Jones has always been ugly to me, i dont care how old she is, that will never change.

She looks like a dood man, honestly if someone told me she used to be a man Id believe it.

I didnt know she made music, but I aint even going there.

She used to terrify me when I was younger. Seriously - If she came on the tv I'd run out.

Thansk for replying to the thread. Yes, Grace still seems to scare a lot of people, but I have seen perform and met her briefly, and she really is a nice person.

The song, "Hurricane", is going to be on her new album Corporate Cannibal, which should be out later this year. The song is going to become yet another dance epic for her.

Check out my YouTube channel. (www.youtube.com/ImpatraZ) It's a tribute to her, and it's even going to be feautured in an article for a magazine called Milk Magazine.

I don't want to restart PlayPod that often. Ten minutes is not enough to evaluate the product.

It is and it's the kind of thing that is making me consider checking out some of her other music. Can you suggest an album of hers that particularly awesome?

Her last album was in 1989, and it's called Bulletproof Heart - stay completely away from this one, as it's purely '80s dance music (you should also avoid the albums: "Portfolio" and "Inside Story").

She made a trilogy of albums back in the early 80's, and they were groundbreaking. They're called: "Warm Leatherette", "Nightclubbing" and "Living My Life", which were all a mixture of rock, R&B, soul, dance, country and everything in between.

There's a double-album that compiles songs from these sessions, and it is called "Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions". Start with that one. It will for sure leave an impact on you.

Or you could just leave it up to me to compile a set of songs, and upload it for you to download? It would be my pleasure. xD

I never saw her as an ugly person and most people I've seen say so were usually from a WAay different culture than mine. And she's 60?! Compare her to any other woman at 60 and it's no dice, Jones barely got touched by time. I always wanted to see her in more challenging/bigger roles. Since Nefertiri was a baeutiful and strong BLACK queen of Egypt I'd like to see Grace play her one day.

Never really heard her music but she's talented none the less. N' nice hat!

As we all know... BLACK DON'T CRACK.

She's a little fuller these days, but not a single crack on that perfect face.

If that didn't impose too much on your free time I think I'd be a neat idea. No one knows her like you, Zulu. :)

Thank you

Here you are Denny: http://rapidshare.com/files/136271734/Grace_Songs.rar.html

They were recorded between 1980-1982, at the legendary Compass Point Studio in the Bahamas, with rhythm legends Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare.

I hope you enjoy them!

Always love you avatar. Grace Jones forever, omg I remember her in the old days in NYC. One night she came off the stage and danced with me just enough to get some of the extra black make up she wore on me while she was singing. I thought I would die right there. Thanks for the post and flash back.
