Well im just approaching the death of yunalesca and enroute to claiming anima, and i wanna have 1 aeon with the fluffiest stats known to man, but i do not know which 1 of my aeons i shud do this with. my faves are anima and yojimbo. they both have their strenghts and weaknesses but i do not know which one of the two I should upgrde to th max first. can someone help me choose which aeon and please tell me how to or what method to use when upgrading their stats? thanks Wazza91

the surest way to upgrade any aeon's stats is to level up Yuna, because the stronger she becomes, the stronger the Aeons get. Anima will probably max it's attack out the fastest, but Yojimbo will have the highest evade for a long time. Anima is worth using more though, in my opinion, because it's pain skill is useful, and you don't have to pay to attack.

I'd just max out Yuna's stats, that'd increase all the aeons stats.
Other than that, distil + Kotos, and increase the stats manually.

I think Anima would be more useful to max out over Yojimbo.

Anima.

Yojimbo can never do more than 9999 (99999 with break damage limit) as far as I know, whereas Anima's overdrive hits a lot of times, potentially for the same amount as Yojimbo can hit once.

So yeah, pick Anima.

Anima has Oblivion.

Yojimbo has Zanmato.

Both are devastating overdrives, Zanmato is the stronger of the 2, being instant KO and such but I would personally go for Anima because I never really liked the "relationship" factor and having to pay him.

Ceidwad, Yojimbo can hit over 9999, you need to have Auron's ultimate weapon.

Bahamut, Anima and Magnus Sisters are the only aeons who aren't affected by ultimate weapons.

...whereas Anima's overdrive hits a lot of times, potentially for the same amount as Yojimbo can hit once.

You must be confused with X-2, cause Anima's overdrive doesn't hit multiple times.

In the NTSC version, Obilivion only does 99,999 damage max. But in the EU version, Oblivion hits multiple times, therefore doing more than 99,999 damage (I don't know how much exactly).

Hah, NTSC version get a crappy attack for Anima? Then again, I tend to have my aeons on short clips because they take too long to summon, but I love watching Anima's overdrive. So...do the Magus Sisters, with their Delta Attack, also only have a crappy one-hit overdrive on the NTSC version?

ahh rite so im going with anima, which stats for her should I upgrade? like str HP etc and in what order?

I am most certainly upgrading yuna, she is one of my best three, her tidus n auron, so i cn enjoy yojimbo on occasion too (i aim to get celestial weapons for all 3 of those characters)

Yup as everyone here already stated, power up Yuna, you power up her Aeons, nuff said.
And yes, Anima is the better of the 2, since Yojimbo's Zanmato is random even if you pay him a high price it still won't guarantee that it'll use Zanmato.

yea if you wanna see more then 99999 damage then use anima and turn his overdrive to short the itll do a lump sum of all his hits in one which turns out to about 200-300000
