Me not as often as I used to years ago, last time I remember was while trying to beat a combo record in Vagrant Story but I couldn't no matter how hard I tried and got so pissed off I wanted to kill someone; lately got a bit frustrated playing Turok on 360, the damn game gets too hard sometimes.
So what about you? do you still feel like throwing the controller against the wall when a game gets difficult or are you the kind of guy that goes silent?

Last time I remember getting angry was playing Assassin's Creed and I had to jump across the port by way of small ass poles sticking out of the water. Slight angle off and plunged into the water where I died, because apparently, assassins can't swim... They can scale buildings and jump into a small pile of hay from a mile up, but water? Fuck that.

I avoid getting angry at games cause when I start to get pissed off, I press pause and go for a walk. o:

One time I got so angry I threw a PS3 controller out the window.

Oh wait that was The Master.

The last time I got angry while playing is when I was playing Urban Reign. The later levels became ridiculously hard as the enemies were becoming down right cheap. As far as throwing my controller? I grew out of that back in the NES days. I remind myself it's just a game in the end and keep my temper in check.

This used to be a huge problem with me. By far the angriest I ever got was playing Croc (PSX), which was free to me. I got stuck toward the end trying to kill a chain of goofy enemies so I frisbeed the disc into the nearest wall. Then I took the shards burned them. Recently I became annoyed with Prince of Persia because of its belligerent camera. But these days I just turn the shit off and chill with friends.

Unfortunately as I have got older I have become much less tolerant with games and as a result am now a fairly proficient controller thrower.

I have really nice brick fire place in my lounge that unfortunately (and expensively when I had it fixed) took several direct hits during recent games of God Hand, Tomb Raider Anniversary and some of the optional bosses in FFXII

World of Warcraft:

On the Isle of Quel'Danas lies a five man instance known as Magister's Terrace. The instance is rather easy with five relatively skilled players, but the last bass is just a downright bastard. His name is Kael'thas Sunstrider and is level 72 elite.

Also the 10-man raid place of Zul'Aman. Karazhan is so easy compared to this place. It's tribal "Indiana Jones" style surroundings make you feel like you're in for an awesome adventure, but the bosses in this place make me want to wave goodbye to my raiding buddies and log with ninja speed and go play a friendly game of golf on Albatross18.

I yell at my games a ton but I don't often get truly angry at them. Except for MKWii lately and Mega Man ZX as well.

Last time I got angry was a half hour ago.

I was playing Shaiya and had to kill 5 people of the opposing race (since I joined Union of Fury, the opposing race would be Alliance of Light). I started that quest about 3 HOURS AGO!!! And 10 minutes ago, I finally got the bastards! Apparently, they had someone run out as bait. And as always, I took it. They run back and suddenly, a whole swarm of the little shits are on me! So now, I'm taking a little break. I seriously almost punched a hole through my monitor, no joke.

I find myself getting more like irritated than really angry at games... like earlier, I was playing FFXII... and I kept getting game over, it was just super frustrating. eventually I just stopped playing before I got totally angry. I... haven't gotten so angry to the point of throwing my controller in a long, long time, though.

MK Wii is really frustrating, though... I have a tendency to yell a lot every time I get hit by stuff or whatever... XD;;

You should hear me in Halo. That game is so laggy, I pretty much always say something when I die because I know I got him first. The whole host thing is bullshit if you ask me.

I don't really get angry, sometimes I do get a little frustrated. Mostly with fighting games. Rcently I got both Soul Calibur 3 and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. What frustrates me is, the computer controlled oppenent can time every move perfectly and INSTANTLY react to your input (controller) and counter it flawlessly. I always feel that it's being unfair :(.

I don't usually get angry while playing, cause I play alot of online games, and when I die or whatnot I usually just take it and accept the fact that they got me first. Even with MMORPGs, I don't do it much, if I fail to do a quest or something, I come back with people to help me. No big deal for me.

I have a friend that when he gets pissed off with a game turns the console off and goes to erase whatever progress he's done so far. Last time I checked he made it to the final boss of Fatal Frame 3 but the thing beat the crap out of him several times and there he went, after spending 20 hours of gameplay.

I never get frustrated with games. If I'm losing a game and not having fun doing it, I write the game off as a pile of suck and move on.

If it's a racing game or some kind of competitive game like that I always get sad when I lose. Angry though? No :( I just get all sad.

Surt's Volcano in Valkyrie Profile 2. the part where you have to jump across the collapsing bridge. I just can't fucking get it. And when you fall, you call down like 2 screens, and have to dick around coming back, and get into screens where you HAVE to fight enemies because its in the ~no photon zone~ or whatever it is called, and they put the enemies on hill so you can't just jump over them. Sick move on the developers part :(

I haven't been seriously annoyed while playing a game for quite a few years now, but I still get frustrated when I'm trying to solve a really random puzzle on an RPG or something. Most games though I can stay calm with, because they're mostly just about an increased level of difficulty doing the same thing you'd normally do throughout the game and I know I'll probably eventually conquer them. RPGs are different, because sometimes you just have to have a walkthrough, lest the rage get the better of you.

I used to get angry at games when I was younger, like... when I was a teenager.

Now when I lose a game or repeatedly get Game Over screens, I just shut the console and do something else for a while.

Sometime, it's just not the right time to be playing games, y' know.

I do the same as Hynad.

But I do remember the last time I got kind of angry was when I was playing God of War 2 on the hardest difficulty. Frickin game can do that to you.

I may get a tad bit upset when an rts starts lagging like hell.
I was angry and amazed one time when I got raped and gangbanged like crazy by the enemy teams in Red Alert 2 after some modifications I made to the AI settings. XD
Took it down a notch afterward. *whew!

Maybe if you'd like to pay for me, I'll do it. Otherwise, I don't think I'll play a game where I have to pay monthly.

Anyways, now I'm off to play Shaiya. It's not going to play itself and my Pagan waits for no man when it comes to leveling so I can wear my new shirt of AWESOMENESS!

Get Guild Wars then. I play that occasionally.

You need to buy the game (Which is like $20) but then it's free to play forever, and is still better than Shaiya :P

IDX

NOTHING IS BETTER THAN SHAIYA! And here, Guild Wars is $50, but like I said in the Shaiya game, I don't think my computer can even make the minimum requirements so it won't work (my computer is almost 8 years old).

On a totally unrelated subject, I just heard "Force Your Way" redone by the Black Mages on my PSP and it sounds great :D!
