pretty pumped

also of note, the poster/graphic that is popular with this movie that shows mulder/scully standing down below with their shadows forming an X is a bit odd. It looks as if there is only one light source close to them, but to make two different shadows that long and narrow it would have to be two light sources from different angles and also far away. Damn these noob graphic artists.

Will this be uploaded to Youtube, and is this a new trailer or one of the old ones?

Wow I can't believe how much David Duchovny has aged since when he first made these! Though I guess it shouldn't really surprise me, considering just how long ago that was. Still it seems to me from that trailer that the difference is more apparent with him than with Gillian Anderson.

Also, very much looking forward to the film!

Yeah. I haven't watched any of the episodes beyond Season 3 so far, but have heard that the later seasons weren't that good - so feel the same way. I also found the previous movie a tad disappointing. Hopefully though this one will be an improvement.

That is simply not true. Season 4 is actually the best season of them all, and season 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, are all fantastic. The main plot about the alien conspiracy becomes more intense as the seasons move along, so that is simply not true. Trust me. Watch the other seasons, and you will know what I am talking about. I can assure you of that. No! I guarantee it.

I cannot stress this enough! Seriously, I can't live knowing that someone has been told such a horrible and damaging lie. It is simply not true. :(

you'd have to be delusion to think Season 6 onwards is as good as 1-5.

they're still good sure and still worth watching, but the show definetly drops in quality. i think the stories just get a little too absurd and moving from Canada to California really doesnt help. Canada was perfect for setting the right kind of atomesphere, California didnt wotk at all.

that said, Requiem is one of the best episodes of the entire series and the very last episode is win too.

My apologies Zulu. I typed that last post out quickly last night as was about to log off. As a result I didn't make it as clear as I could have. I've got a habit of doing that at times! lol

The person who happened to mention that to me was actually referring to Season 7 onwards at the time. Not to put me off watching them. Only because he was thinking along the same kind of lines as Bryan.

As it happens I recently purchased Season 4 (just haven't had the chance to get round to watching it yet) and still most definitely plan on seeing the rest of the episodes when I can! Though I've somewhat lowered my expectations for the last 3 seasons, it certainly hasn't put me off the idea of seeing them. I may well get a different impression, and I still very much want to see how things turn out regardless! ;)

S4 happens to have the best mytharc episode(Memento Mori) AND the best motw episode(Small Potatoes) although Ice, Pusher, War of the Coprophages, Beyond the Sea and Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose run it close. good choice.

I never said that? ?_? I merely said that all of those seasons had some pretty amazing episodes, and they should not be dismissed, as people will miss out on some of the best episodes in the series.

Season 4 is still my favorite, and my all-time favorite episode is "Home", with the fantastic Peacock family. x)

Yeah, especially since the X-Files only ended in 2002, and the last Indiana Jones 19 years ago.
