Everyone has been asking for this soundtrack, but so far no one has been able to decode the files that hold the music information. Also, straight rips are difficult since there is always some form of sound effect being played, be it a pinata or weather sound effects.
I got my hands on the PC version of Viva Pinata, and took the liberty of ripping all of the romancing music from the bink videos. The music for each pinata's romancing dance is different, and seems to be embedded directly into the movies. As such, it is impossible to get the music without some sound effects from the pinatas. Some Pinata like to make more noise then others when romancing.... You'll just have to try and ignore it since there is no other way to get this music without the SE. Also, I've ripped the music from the little achievement movies that play after various milestones and all three Rare logo movies.
I've combined these files with various other tracks that are available on the internet. So, what we have here is the most complete Viva Pinata soundtrack that you're probably ever going to find. A total of 110 tracks, by everyone's favorite (ok, maybe second favorite) Rare in-house composer, Grant Kirkhope! Hopefully (albeit unlikely) someday Rare will release an Official Soundtrack. We know they have those master files somewhere!
(A quick note on the file names: Everything is named like the bink videos, so the actual pinata's names aren't used. For example "mouse" instead of "mousemallow." However, if you use iTunes everything should be renamed properly, and arranged neatly in a 2 disc fashion with artwork and proper track numbers.)
***NOTE***
The file labeled "Horstachio" is improperly named. It is actually the Ponocky (Pony) romance music. This is one of the original files that can be found on the internet. (Rare's site I think) It was named wrong on the site as well.
