Whats the highest number of goals you've scored in blitzball in one match?
I've scored 15 goals in one match, 13 of them from Brother.

There's a maximum of about 16 that you can get, I think.

If you start with three strikers (ie no midifielder) it gives you a better chance of scoring loads of goals, as it removes the need to pass the ball.

I have never scored more than 8, because I never try this strategy. I always play with the original Aurochs anyway (minus Tidus, as he's not actually an Auorch and makes the game easier by virtue of Jecht Shot).

Most I can get is 11. It gets so easy once you're leveled up and copied everything.

One time I let my sister play and she sucked so bad that the game was called before the time was up. The other team got a goal every couple of seconds and she couldn't get even one, so the other team won by default.

I have Tidus and Blappa (ridiculous name) and they have like a 60 shot and I scored like 14 in a game once. It was rape.

i was quite happy with myself when i finally won the first blitzball game, 6 to 4 i think it was.

But later on you can win about 14 - 0 with Jetch shot or Wedge (or is it Biggs)

The most i have scored in a game was 12.

I think that if you use a normal shot, or poison shot right off the bat, you can save time, because jecht shot takes a lot of time to complete

o dont think you can get other 12 due to the time limit and the game wont let you, reason been you cant get 2 pages on the goal summary after the entire match cos only 12 goals can only be showed.

about 17+, the trick is to only do a normal shot ever with tidus so that it cuts down time, and always shoot directly beside goal, if ur lucky like i was, the goalie wont have super goalie or time consuming things like sticky gloves or whatever it is.

I think I got 11 once, I was about 7 up at half time but Letty started getting sloppy with his blocking in the second half.

Honestly, X-2 had one mini game that couldve been developed and made better, FFX blitzball, instead they made it like premiership manager, and it just perfects the complete failure that FFX-2 was.
No matter how much square enix hypes a game anymore, i can now see it as complete trash (FF crystal bearers for example)

I get my over exaggerated hype fix from Kojima now :P

Only 3. I only play Blitzball that one time when you are at the tournament and never again, the game pisses me off. I'd rather do something else to get Wakka's Celestial Weapon.

I believe I score 14 once, but I down right hate that game with a burning passion.

Four? Maybe? XD I first got FFX when I was about seven, so when I played through more recently and actually understood the blitz tutorials, of was a matter of practice. That ended in a sucky number four. But hey, some things never change. ^^

I've scored over 20 goals in a game once. I don't recall the exact number (23, 24, 25?), but I know that playing Blitzball solely with Tidus earns levels fast. So pass him the ball, shoot with him, or do whatever else you can with him while still winning. You can have a LV 70+ Tidus against LV 10-20 teams. Equip him with Elite Defense, and watch him destroy.

Right now, my Tidus is LV 90-something. My primary attacker, Naida, is LV 60-something, and my other attacker, Brother, is LV 45. The other teams are LV 40 and lower. I can still score about 14 goals per match, but only because Tidus' ATK and BLK are too weak to stop the opponent's center. I have to rely on Naida to knock out the opponent or catch the ball, then pass it to Tidus so he can shoot. He can still make it from halfway with just a normal shot.

I believe that fellow's claim to 24 goals. It's fairly easy to do.

Apparently his claims are true, as you can see by clicking the link I posted.

Yeah, its probably not a fake. It takes about 10 seconds for the shot to travel from center field to the goal, and about 15 for a player to steal the ball from the center. So, with a perfect game, you could conceivably get over 20 goals.

Your forgetting passing time from the centre to the stiker as well, thats a few seconds too.
There are too many bullshit scores popping up, its annoying.
