Okay so I just got ass raped by sephiroth in the northern cave using Cloud, Cid and Vincent. I'm now trying to get all their ultimate weapons and limits but I just went to lucrecias cave (for the first time) and I did the whole memory thing of vincent and I know that I'm supposed to re-enter the cave and talk to her again to get Vincents ultimate limit and weapon but she isn't there. I've looked on the internet and it says to go to her during disc 2 but I went to her in disc 3. Have I lost the chance to get his ultimate weapon and limit or can I still get it?

No as far as I remember she isnt there the second time, but the weapon should be there instead. Its been a while but look around in there again.

I'm not entirely sure whether you can still get it on Disc 3 if you didn't visit on Disc 2, but from what I remember, I don't think you can. (Edit: Desert Wolf got there first, I'd take his advice; it's been ages since I've played VII anyway)

However, I did laugh at the fact that you lost to Sephiroth, one of the easiest last bosses you'll find in the FF series.

You don't need ultimate weapons or limits to beat him, just decent items, materia and equipment. Go to Mideel, I think you can buy Remedies there; they'll serve you well in your battle with Safer Sephiroth. Also, equip a Ribbon if you have it.

If you still can't beat him, just level up a bit. It probably takes less time to do that than to try and get all the ultimate limit breaks and weapons.

His ultimate weapon sucks, imo.

Well unless you've used him a lot...

Also I agree with Ceidwad that you losing to Sephiroth is humorous. Hell you can beat him with stock weapons and armor, provided you have the right materia.

You have to kill 10 enemies then come back, or something like that. But you got it now so itsallgood

THEN WHY DID YOU BUMP THIS?

Just clarifying incase people were wondering why he got it when he went back, incase they were confused about it being on a certain disc, etc. Plus this wasn't THAT far down the list, it wasn't like a decade old... I don't see the big deal about bumping threads, why do people flip about it? If you don't want to read it, don't click on it. Seems pretty simple to me.O:]

Because bumping inactive threads pushes active threads down the list. It's especially annoying when bumping an inactive thread with a stupid response that was not needed, such as the one you just posted.

That, and look at the date. It might be still on the first page, but it's still a couple months.
