I don't know how many of you here watch the hit USA TV series "Monk", but it's been my favorite show for the last few years, and I'm honestly gonna miss seeing this guy. One of the best "shrink" roles ever. But that's not the least of my worries, not by a long shot.
First of all, at least it wasn't one of the other main four as his is more minor and the rest are actually needed in every episode. But, his character is important to the series as he's like Monk's sanity island, and we keep seeing him every 3. I just hope this doesn't get the series canceled, they could write his character out like they did before, or kill him, or (God forbid) get a different actor. Writing him out wouldn't be as simple as doing that with his assistant for a number of reasons.
Hell, the series was signed on for another season to start in July, wonder if they started filming with him. And if they didn't, hope this doesn't cancel it. Damn, just when the writers strike ends something like this has to happen.
RIP
