I just pre-ordered mine on Amazon.com and selected one-day shipping. So while I won't get it on release, I'll get it the next day, which isn't so bad.

I'm assuming that means you do not have a 360, as there is no sense whatsoever in getting the PS3 version if you have both consoles due to the 360 having that exclusive DLC. For the record, I'm extremely unlikely to ever buy it, although I might give it a rental sometime down the road.

You assume correctly. As for the DLC it's not a big concern of mine since it'll probaly have to be payed for and I'm a cheap bastard who doesn't buy DLC. If it's free shit then I'll take it, as most people would. In the back of my mind though I hope they bring the DLC to the PS3. Who knows, I might shell out a few bucks for it, but it's highly unlikely.

I remember the older GTAs and they kept me entertained almost nonstop, so I doubt GTA4 will be lacking in OC. If anything it will be much more than last gen GTAs. Keep in mind I'm not against DLC, I just don't care for it.

I am looking forward to it. But it seems like il only be playing it at my mates houses'. As i think i am going to opt for buying a Wii. Rather than a PS3. Though i will buy a PS3 eventually. But it wont be for a while. :(

Does anyone else notice the character models reflecting light a little too much? It almost has a cel-shaded feel to it, which is kind of cool because it gives a subtle comic book feel.
