Is it possible to get out of the northern crater? If not then where am I supposed to get the W-item and Shield Materia so I can get the Masters Spell and Command Materia?

Also when I give Tifa her ultimate weapon �Premium Heart� the strength of her attacks actually falls by about 80%

Her hits are usually around 6000 but it drops to like 500-800. Is this a glitch? Anyone else experienced this?

1. You can get out of Northern Crater. Just fight your way back to the top and try to climb up the wall somewhere. Can't remember exactly where. It's at the fisrt screen.

2. If you missed the W-Item materia when you invaded Midgar at the end of Disc 2, you are fucked unless you have a previous save state before you fight the Proud Clod thingy.

3. Depending on your large materia missions, if you failed one of them you may not be able to get Master Spell or Command materia. They are located in Cosmo Canyon after those missions. Touch one of them with all mastered materia of that types and it will combine into Master Materis. Or the other way is to talk to a man in Kalm and give him the Earth Harp which you get from Emerald Weapon.

4. I don't remember which part of Northern Crater it's located in, but the Shield materia is there.

5. The Premium Hearts damage is (I think) determined by how much Tifa's Limit Gauge is charged.

That's about all I know

My mistake I ment W-Magic but im sure that and the Mega All materia are all in the norther crater. I was gona say its pretty retarded if thats the only place you can get these materia and theres no way out. Thanks for the help Hawkeye.

I have hit a bit of a snag... While levelling up limit breaks barrets jumped from grenade bomb to satellite beam missing out hammerblow. Is it possible to still get hammerblow or should I restart from my last save and prey it doesn’t happen again?

You can still get Hammerblow. You gain different limit breaks upon fulfilling certain criteria, so you might gain your 3:1 before your 2:2, but you can still get both. I suggest you look up gamefaqs for an FAQ, it should be pretty easy to find.

I know I'm a little late and maybe you already figured it out but to add to what Ceidwad said I'll throw some more info about getting limits. To learn limits there are 2 basic ways. The first way is to keep using a limit and the other way is to kill a set number of enemies. For example if you use Cloud's Braver 8 times then you will learn Crosh-Slash. Now if Cloud kills a number of enemies (I don't know how many) he will then learn Blade Beam. If you use Blade Beam 8 times he will learn Climhazzard and so on. So basically for the 1st limits of every level (2nd,3rd levels to be precise) you have to kill a number of enemies while for the 2nd limits of every level (1st,2nd and 3rd) you have to use the 1st limit of each level. OK, to leave the frustration out just use Grenade Bomb and eventually you'll learn Hammerblow. Just one more thing. If you go to the forest (Junon Area) and initiate random battles there's a great chance you'll meet 5 Capparwires. They're easy to kill and will add to a player's total kills in no time - therefore enabling you to learn limits that are learned by total kills faster.
