Which boss did you have most trouble beating in any FF game? Seymour flux was difficult so i'm going to say him.

I'd have to say the one i had the most trouble with was seiryu in final fantasy 5, though ruby weapon in final fantasy 7 was no slouch either.

Suspicious......

Four Fiends (FFIV)
not hard but a bit overpowered.

Well, you can use Zanamato iirc. So thats a either/or in my opinion.

True enough (although that defeats the purpose of winning penance in the first place) ... then dark Yojimbo, I fought against this thing for a very long time (lvl-up included). Oh and for the records I didn't pull a 5-zanmato-combo-stunt-thingie. It's not that I didn't try though.

Black Rabite... I mean, er, Skull Eater (FFV)

XD

Overpowered? They're too easy.
I think the Dawn of Souls versions of the four elemental lords are the best (as far as they are concerned). Battle them sometime.

Chaos on the NES version.

It took me quite a long time to get past the Seymour boss at Mt. Gagazet in Final Fantasy X, can't remember the proper name for him

The weird thing is, I beat Yunalesca very easily the first time I fought her lol and then I had to go quickly without saving it thinking 'She's easy, I'll beat her easily'.
I came back, loaded my game and got owned over and over xD
But I beat her eventually

And I don't know if it counts, but Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II was pretty hard

he is if you're level 40 something lol

Why would you try it at level 40 something? o.O

I did it at level 85 with the Kingdom Key and it had a little challenge. Reloaded and equipped the Ultima Weapon and it was cake.

Tried on a different file level 99 on Proud Mode and I didn't even need to look at the screen.

i always run thru the games without leveling up and get crushed by the end bosses

in 7 i got smashed by the dudes right before u get to sepiroth...i escaped from them somehow and got destroyed by sepiroth's supernova

i last played ten, flew thru it till jeckt...i really got sick of the death metal by the tenth time i lost..oh and then i thought i beat him and he morphed into another form...gah.

Yeah, I'd probably say Penance. I still haven't defeated him yet and I don't want to use Yojimbo.

I thought the final boss in X was easy. Cast reflect on that bitch and she heals your party, np.

If you are referring to Yu Yevon swami, that fight is impossible to lose. You have auto-life on all your characters.

I know.

But it's fun to think I kicked its ass based on my knowledge and skill as a turn-based strategist!

Yeah, I'd probably say Penance. I still haven't defeated him yet and I don't want to use Yojimbo.

Best strategy I know for penance is never let the arms attack. AT ALL!

However I've never fought penance...

Hardest boss for me I'd say would be the Cloud of Darkness from the DS remake of FF3. It always killed my party (I used a Dragoon, ninja, monk and devout). and leveling up was a NIGHTMARE! When ever I needed to restock a had to exit from eureka then through the maze thingy and back to my air ship. then go all they way back. then when I felt confident to fight the cloud again, theres the problem of actually GETTING to it and pray you dont run into any Dragons in the crystal thingymabob then after fighting Xande and getting auto pwned, its off to fight the danm 4 moster guys. 2 of which were easy. then the other 2 will come along and kill you and after killing all of them its off to fight the could who STILL has a chance of killing you! I died alot! only when i DID killer it was pretty danm close. my dragoon only had bout 60 sommat HP left and he managed to jump in time and kill it.

I felt soo happy and achived. so I fell asleep :D

i think Ruby weapon on Final Fantasy VII give me a hard time to finish the job. so i give it to him, although seymour flux also has a point of his own.

Harkus

I'm changing my vote, Seymour flux was easy on my last play through but goddamn Omega weapon killed me in about 4 turns.

Dark Anima ftw! If I didnt have such a problem with training up then maybe he wouldnt be so bad, but screw training. Ill beat him eventually.
