Post what you expect to see / what you hope to see in the future installments of the Final Fantasy 7 Compilation.

1. A Final Fantasy VII Remake (of course...)
2. Another CGI Movie. I don't care when it takes place, I just want another one.
3. The Final Sequel. This will be Cloud and his buddies going against Genesis and Weiss. I'm thinking some of the other Tsviets will be there as well because their deaths weren't all that "final" looking.

Speaking of which, I just have this strange feeling and/or theory after playing Crisis Core that they're going to do a whole Darth Vader-like redemption with Sephiroth, where they'll probably end up having to revive him in some way to help them defeat Genesis and his Gang. That's just a theory though. I don't necessarily hope for it - unless they're able to do it well (and the main characters would have to be pretty forgiving towards him). I just got that feeling because of how nice and sane he was in Crisis Core, and he definitely hinted at the end of Advent that he made sure that there were other ways that he could come back. Plus, it would be nice to finally see him learn the truth about who his parents were and such.

I would like SEnix to take the PS3 Tech demo of FFVII a bit further by actually Remaking the game. An FFVII with the latest graphics wouldn't necessarily mean a better game or better version of said game, but would definitely be worth checking out imo. Also, even though SE stated that they had no intention of remaking FFVII I call BS, they might as well remake the game seeing as how they remade III & IV.

How did the Yellow Ranger die?

Anyway, if they made another FFX and then everyone will be on here saying MILK MILK about those characters and that story as well.

I don't get people complaining about the FF7 Compilation so much. Ignore these new additions if you don't approve of them. They're not ruining the old game at all. It's untouchable.

It can be done. A good example is that I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil and Silent Hill games, and the Movie adaptations and Comic Books and what-have-you of these games are absolute garbage. I choose to ignore them completely, and they take nothing away from the games. Done and Done. Some people like those movies though, and I certainly don't go on the fan-forums for those movies and bitch about them.

oh man, rofl to the max

my sediments exactly.

And it's Thuy Trang who is no longer with us :( The legacy of the Yellow Ranger still lives on, even if today's PR is nothing more than tone-deaf deadbeats with poor acting skills.

I guess some people just don't have the willpower to see things how they want to. I've always been able to keep things untainted - such as the first Matrix movie. I still enjoy it as much as the first time I saw it - despite the horrid sequels.

Advent Children and Crisis Core aren't even bad. Not as good as the original, but certainly not comparable to matrix sequels. They'll make this compilation, and then be done with it for the rest of their/our lives, so let them fill the milk bucket, or whatever.

You certainly wouldn't say that games like Metal Gear Solid have been milked too much. Each game has had something great to offer, and now they'll be done after 4. FF7 has quite a way to go before they catch up to the number of Metal Gear Solid games.

Making that opinion known earlier would have been helpful.

I don't expect greatness. I hope for it. Big difference - at least as far as I'm concerned. I only used the term expect when it came to what direction I'm pretty sure they're going to go in.

Completely random and stupid. Either this is the worst first post ever, or you've had quite a few accounts on here. I'm leaning towards the latter.

I wouldn't mind seeing a re-make of Final Fantasy 7 for PS3, like many people have already mentioned. I think if they plan on making more spin offs of the whole seven series then they need to be deeper, and not just the same characters over and over again. IE: Fighting Sephiroth. I didn't play Dirge, but I didn't hear great things about it, and I've yet to beat Crisis Core. The movie just seemed too far out there. For instance, where did those three new guys come from, and why were they suddenly after "mother." If they are going to come up with things like that, then they need to dive deeper and cover it better.
