I've been lurking and downloading for a while so I thought I'd give something back to this great site with my first upload.

http://www.filefactory.com/file/d679ba/

Ripped by myself from the Gamecube version of the game.
No Sound FX/Voices besides the Opening Movie.

I'm aware theres a few tracks missing as I haven't fully completed the game but this is the best I can do for now.
When I complete the game I'll rip the rest of the tracks (don't think I missed too many)

Emuparadise has it (http://www.emuparadise.me/music/ngc/SSX_Tricky/530) and it`s ripped from GC too but you might need vgmstream to make them work.

There`s a guide
How to install the vgmstream plugin for Winamp:
I noticed that many users here don't know how to install the vgmstream plugin, so here's a little guide.
1. download the plugin (Index of /files/vgmstream (http://hcs64.com/files/vgmstream/)) and extract the in_vgmstream.dll to you Winamp plugins folder (e.g. C:\Programs\Winamp\Plugins)
2. download the external dll files (http://hcs64.com/files/vgmstream_external_dlls.zip) and extract them to a path where Windows can find them (C:\Windows for Win 7 and C:\Windows\System32 for Win XP)
3. restart Winamp. If no message pops up, you have installed the plugin properly

How to decode source files to uncompressed wave files (for re-encoding):
Best and easiest way is with the DiscWriter plugin for Winamp. Here are some screens that will help:
(http://img443.imageshack.us/i/dwp1.jpg/) (http://img249.imageshack.us/i/dwp2s.jpg/) (http://img406.imageshack.us/i/dwp3.jpg/)
Afterwards, just "play" the files you want to decode.
Don't forget to set the Output to "DirectSound Output" afterwards again to normally play files.
This should be sufficient for not only installing it but also checking out if you didn`t forget anything and it`s gonna work.

If Winamp or what else you use (vgmstream is also compatible with foobar 2000 and XMPlay) shows zero track length then it thinks that a needed plugin is still missing so that you have done something wrong. You can try placing external DLLs not in Windows folder but in a root directory of your media player. Or maybe it converts the tracks but seems freezed to you because most tracks are very long up to 15 min 33 sec!

I`ve downloaded the rip myself and it plays fine here and all the tracks can be converted to WAV, MP3 or anything else. If you still can`t figure it out yourself I can convert the songs to MP3, AAC or whatever you use and post them here. Even that would be better than whining here not to say willing to pay for reupload of a probably incomplete line-in rip.

Almost forgot it but have just looked at tracklisting in OP and that helped me remember. This is EA MUS format and there can be more than 1 track inside each EAM file so it would be better to send you the tracks in lossless format like FLAC or TAK. That way you will be able to split the tracks if needed using any audio editor and only then convert to lossy. Because for example if I convert that 15 min track to MP3 and it appears that it contains a few stand-alone tracks spliced together then you will have to edit them and encode in lossy format once again which is not good.

Is VBR V0 fine? Also I won`t split these 20 tracks into smaller ones if it`s even required as I have actually no idea about how they should sound and am not even interested in this soundtrack much so if some tracks appear glued then you have to split them yourself.

V0 is the highest possible quality VBR. Here it is MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://anonym.to?http://megaupload.com/?d=WBTWT4LJ) .

How did you manage to rip these from the game CD? I extracted the individual ".mus" files from the "MUSIC.BIG" archive... but the tracks just come out as static. o.O

JBTND
11-07-2012, 06:37 PM
Whom are you actually referring to? If to thread starter then he has most probably recorded all the tracks posted in OP while playing the game IE made an old-fashioned line-in rip. If to me then what I posted is an MP3 conversion of music ripped straight from the game (http://www.emuparadise.me/music/ngc/SSX_Tricky/530) by HCS but with usage of software methods of course. If you really want to rip it yourself then keep trying. I think I know what you`ve encountered although I haven`t ever ripped this game myself. If you`re attempting to play or convert them with vgmstream and only get static then it`s probably EA Layer3 and you might want to try related tools such as EAtools (eabigunp.exe+eaconv.exe), ealayer3-0.5.0-win32, DecodeEaL3 or even some other programs I forgot.
Anyway since my upload (post#32 ITT) is still alive and kicking maybe it can satisfy all your needs? Especially if you were about to convert ripped tracks to MP3 anyway...

JBTND, your link is showing as being have "been blocked for a violation of our Terms of Service."

Then delete "http://anonym.to/?" part so that you`re left with plain Mediafire links which you can paste in address line of your browser. It helped some people having the same problem in the past.
