This is complete collection of all of the music in Super Monkey Ball 2. I put this together myself. This is not a line-in recording. All of these tracks are ripped directly from the game.

This is everything that was on the disc, even the short little clips that play during the CGI sequences in Story Mode.
Perhaps they used the same music for Monkey Golf 2 in another game mode as well, so it's just tagged differently.

Edit: sorry, didn't notice the similar comment in the first post. Still, this post does say something that hasn't been said.

There are two tracks on the existing GH rip (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/401) that I can't find anywhere in this rip. They are Monkey Baseball (http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/401/19) and Monkey Tennis (http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/401/28). I haven't gotten far enough in the game to play those party games, so I'm not sure if those are the real tracks for the minigame, but I notice that your rip has only the Select versions of Monkey Baseball and Tennis, so maybe they really are missing. The existing GH tracks of those aren't very good quality, so I would appreciate a real rip of them.

Edit 2: on a totally different note, it turns out that GameFAQs is wrong; Adam Glazier did not do the sound for this game. Adam is probably just the name of some egocentric GameFAQs user. You can see the real credits at the end of this video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-573747292698046698&q=super+monkey+ball+2+17080&ei=QzdASIG9IoyKiAKd66m3CQ). Since it's Google Video, you can just jump to 39:30 without loading the rest of the video and see that the real sound designers are Hidenori Shoji and Haruyoshi Tomita. I suggest you change the artist field of these tracks to "Hidenori Shoji & Haruyoshi Tomita", or some variant.

Also, a question, out of curiosity: where in the game does Grep (the last track in the rip) play? It sounds familiar, but the name reminds me only of the semi-obscure UNIX text search program.

Edit 3: there are some misspellings/typos in the tagging. All tracks with "Biliard" in the name should be changed to have "Billiard", and Monkey Target High Score should have "Target" instead of "Targer".

If you wanna upload your fixed version, Rory, that'd be even better. 'Cause it looks like Slayerr is gone...

^ That's the old rip, still with all the "ready, go" and monkey sounds. There are a few listenable tracks in there which is what I've been surviving on. The cool thing that Cyantre did here was rip the music straight from the files, so that everything is pristine and, well, devoid of monkey screaming. :D

At least, so I gather. That's why I want it so badly. >.<

Not to defend such an articulate "anybody?!" triple post, but...

A) The original uploader (and forum veteran) himself made a quintuple post earlier in the thread. It's clearly not all that bad...

B) While it seems like he's not showing any signs of ever coming back, Cyantre did say he would reupload if anyone wanted him to. What's wrong with people affirming that they would like that? It would be a shame if all his ripping effort remained lost on us remaining monkey ball fans out here.

Really, Super Monkey Ball 2 is not only one of the best games on its system, it's a staple of its generation and has incredible music. The fact that this soundtrack is still unavailable, even from the darkest corners of Google, has me dumbfounded. I still hold out hope that it'll find the light of day eventually.

I may still have the files, but there is also the possibility that I lost them. Be patient and I will go looking for them as I see that all the links are down.

Turns out he's the dude who made the little online official monkey ball flash game. He's certainly not the composer, that credit should go to Hidenori Shoji and Haruyoshi Tomita.
