Ugh, gotta convert all the files to MP3 from MP4
But thank you so much!
Lol this took some dedication.

As long as Winamp plays mp4's I'm game, if not, I'm just going to throw them into my SD card so my Wii can play them (seeing how the Photo Channel 1.1 only plays mp4's -- lame.)

You could always use iTunes to convert them to a format of your choice.

The newest version of Winamp has native support for (.mp4) files. =)

I know now. I played them on Winamp and it worked fine. Question; Is it just me, or does the audio sound a bit. . .um, how would I put it?. . .scratchy? Kind of degraded from the original audio. Like you would be listening to music on a DS. Something like that.

It shouldn't, these files were taken directly from the .brstm files, converted to .wav files (44.100 kHz 16 bit, Stereo), and then into 256 kbps audio files.

I've listened to all of these files with headphones and high quality speakers and haven't heard anything scratchy at all. o_O

My only guess is that perhaps some players don't handle .mp4 files as well as others. Are you using the latest version of Winamp? Is anyone else experiencing this? I've been using iTunes for playing and listening to all of these files, except when I transfer them to my iPod. I only used Winamp in the conversion process, using the in_cube.dll plug-in to convert the .brstm files to. wav files.

If there is an overwhelming request for MP3 files, I suppose I could manage it.

I hope this is helpful for a few people. I know there are a lot of threads already, but judging by what FileFactory is telling me I'm getting a decent amount of hits on each pack. If there is anything I can do to make the packs or this thread better, let me know. I also created and uploaded a game rip for Super Monkey Ball 2, which is something I have not seen anywhere.

would it be okay if i asked if you can do sound effects (voice overs) etc. ?

Someone else is doing the sound-effects collection.
This was easy because the tags were in the game, all the sound-effects in the game are just numbers.

In fact, Skunk is the one handling sound-effects, so if you can you should thank her in her thread. She has more patience than I to sit through all of the sound-effects and figure out what voice-clip correlates to each action. She lives in Europe and doesn't even have the game yet, now that's dedication.

Any sound tracks request I'll take though. =)

I just updated the player. But I am guessing it was Winamp that was screwing it up. I didn't want to put that out there thinking that it was how it was recorded.

I also have a request, and I don't know if this has been addressed, but I figured I'd might as well ask. If you could rip Red Steel's soundtrack, that'd be sweet. I don't know how much of a hassle that would be, but I've certainly enjoyed it.

I honestly prefer mp3 for I don't use iTunes. iTunes doesn't like my setup and likes to make itself default, even when you install it and tell it not to, it still likes to put itself on the top of the list and makes all my audio files open up in iTunes. So I just don't bother with it. That, and I don't have an iPod. I convert my cd's via Creative Media Organizer or Windows Media Player.

I am, however, going to put the mp4 files on my SD card for my Wii. But having them in mp3 would be nice. That way I can make an mp3 CD, and I don't want to have to convert all of them myself.

I suppose I could do an MP3 version, but it would be just as easy if one of the times iTunes opened if you just selected all of the files and clicked "Convert to MP3". It's weird that your setup makes it the default, just tell iTunes not to be the default then open up your preferred media player and tell it to be the default. I also like iTunes because there is a 64-bit version that runs on my operating system, but that's just me.

I'll see about putting up an MP3 version eventually, it'll just take a while.

I need some help with this.
I can't seem to convert the file in iTunes... let alone get it into itunes.
Please assist.

That's a really vague problem. -_-
Install iTunes, open iTunes, drag folder with music files into iTunes. Done.
If you want to convert the files to another format go into (preferences / advanced / importing) then just tell the program what format you want the files to be imported in. Wants you do that highlight the files you want to convert and go (advanced / convert selection to [mp3 / aac]).

It's a really easy program to operate. If you're not comfortable with it I'm sure there are other players that are capable of converting files.

I'm killing this thread soon, right after I start from scratch and convert the .wav files into .mp3 files and re-tag and re-upload everything to FileFactory. The demand for MP3s is high and I don't feel like being the iTunes tech support. So if you want the AAC files get them while you can because I'm taking them down soon.

Edit: This thread is closed, please the new thread (http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?p=1026256) on the site.

Just replace the links which, would be easier instead of starting a new thread .
