These songs represent the music cut from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, based off of the song listing found in smashbros_sound.brsar on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Game Disc . They may not be the exact versions of the songs that would've been in the game, but they are the most official arrangements available on the Internet, and in the highest quality.

Soon I will be adding the rest of the Brawl soundtrack in the same quality as this release, each song given an appropriate and unique screenshot from the official website.

The whole file was full of CRC errors. I only got four songs ot of the file.

It worked for me. It's a shame these songs were taken out (I would have loved a remix of the Forest Theme from Mario RPG), but at any rate, it's a cool collection. Excellent editing for Ballad of the Windfish and Yoshi's Cookie Type A.

Wow, man... already bonuses before the game even comesout stateside. I'm really sad to see that none of this Mother, Zelda, or Mario RPG music made it into the final cut. That would have been sweet to have that Forest song playing while duking it out. And Ballad of the Wind Fish was always one of my favorite Zelda songs.

To be honest, I am very, very, very sad that the "Love" theme from EarthBound/Mother 2 is not in Brawl. It has always been one of my absolute favorite pieces of video game music, and I'm upset that it isn't to be found in Brawl.

The rest of these 'lost tracks' would have been equally fine choices, too. I so can't wait for Brawl!

i've heard that you can put your own music in brawl. we should make some special loop music for smash bros. for levels people want and what music they want. im planning on doing that lol.

Is there anyway to upload the original format that the file was in? I prefer raw data. WAV, BRSTM, and the like are fine. Are these ever obtainable in any other format? Thank you for your consideration.

No, you can change the music already in the game to different stages. I.e., I can play "K.K. Rider" in Pokemon Stadium, but I can't stick a Foo Fighters song in there.

Is there anyway so you could have these songs loop twice, at least the songs that obviously can loop?

e.g The Windfish mp3 can be looped twice

There is no "Brawl version" of Eight Melodies. This was simply a collection of fan arrangements of the songs which look to have been planned for Brawl, but were never actually included on the disc. Sherlock's thread has all the music that's actually in the game.

For all we know, these songs were never even arranged by any of the Brawl sound team...
