Jazz, blues, mixed with experimental electronic and more. I am a long lover of Jun'ichi Kanezaki style and compositions. :)
I have not followed the Anime that well, as I did too much comparison to my beloved AIKa Ova (Thread 119244). The only thing that kept my going was the soundtrack. If I wanted to listen the soundtrack I would turn on the TV and let Najica episode playing in the background, as I did not cared about the anime at all. Maybe one of the best Kanezaki jazzy stylish stuff ever.
"EKODA CHAOS" is one track that blows me. "NAJICA" opening theme is used a lot in the soundtrack in many variations, and none of them feels off. How much time did Kanezaki put in this song to be so damn catchy and addictive? First time I heard it I was weeks with the song in my head. I feel just a bit of longing for not having much use of electric guitar has he did in AIKa OVA (Thread 119244), but the awesomeness of these 2 CDs can easily make me forget that. :D

yeah, i discovered this composer only a couple of weeks ago, when i picked the aika r16 soundtrack without actually knowing what to expect (since i haven't seen the anime).
i gotta admit i was quite pleasantly surprised by kanezaki's jazzy and dynamic compositions.
najica first ost is really damn good, sounds a bit like cowbow beebop at times, but it's really great stuff.
so even only the first cd is worth a huge THANKS. ;-)

this is not is olnly works... you should take a look what the original AIKA series.
That's a really good soundtrack. Alias....all of them. I also love is compositions.
Dirty pair flash 2 and 3.... even if there was 2 more guys working with him on those soundtracks... it's brutal.
