Picking out just a small handful is difficult, but for those who have that *special* place in my heart...

Jerry Goldsmith for everything, but particularly Star Trek The Motion Picture, The Sand Pebbles, The Artist Who Did Not Want To Paint, Poltergeist, Chinatown, Omens 1-3, Legend.

Bernard Herrmann for everything, but particularly Fahrenheit 451.

Elliot Goldenthal.

Hans Zimmer - Cause i love epic music, and that's the kind he mostly composes.
Thanks to him many movies became something more than just another piece of wortless tape.

My favorite film composer overall is Danny Elfman for the 1989 Batman Movie and Batman Returns. I also loved his work for the Tales from the Crypt TV series.
