(I bought it at a used cd store about a year ago even though i have the new playstation it just is not the same remember the system start up sound So cool ah So many memories)

if i had to pick a second it'd be the psx. but for me the SNES is the greatest and my fav of all time.

My favourite console...

I'm stuck between two, SNES and Dreamcast. Both of them are my favourite consoles equally. Honourable mention to XBox for the Knights of the Old Republic games and to the PS2 for the Dynasty Warriors games.

SNES and still own it, but lost some of the best games on it (the one that hurts the most is A Link to the Past).

This is getting to be about as repetitive as JeonRina14 and The Grande Freak. *sigh* oh well I might as well comply since I'm here: either Commodore 64 or SNES, but probably the first.

btw i wanna change my second choice to ps2. cause i can still play the old psx on it. :p

I'd have to say either the NES or the Sega Genesis. But I also really love the PSX. I only bought the PSOne because it read my imports and back-up copies better, but the old gray one was very enjoyable to me for many different reasons.

I love me some Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. A lot of great childhood memories, and awesome games like "Aladdin" and "Streets of Rage II".

Current fave? The DS and a kiddie console known as the V-Smile Pocket.

Why? Because the DS has two things that I like: RPGs and kiddie games of my favorite characters. Throw in GBA compatibility which means more RPGs and kiddie games of my favorite characters and it is a winner.

The V-Smile Pocket because it impresses the hell out of me with all it's games being fully pimped out with speech everywhere in the game (something I don't see everyday on DS/GBA games).

i like the x-box mainly because of fable and ninja gaiden and because you can burn music onto the hard drive. I'd have to say that ps2 takes my vote because silent hill 2 was scary as hell when I first played it.

snes for mario kart and all the mario games, and no don't still have it. also ps2 was pretty great had so many good games. still own mine

PS1/X or Nintendo DS (mainly due to the huge backlog of GBA games and the lineup of DS games).

My favorite consoles are the Sega Genesis, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Dreamcast, and Nintendo GameCube. I never owned the SNES unfortunately :(. I had the NES though.

As for the handhelds; I loved the Sega Nomad, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance SP, and Nintendo DS.

Probably PS1 or gamecube. Both have very memorable games on them.

And for handhelds I gotta say DS or gameboy color. DS just has so many fun games but the GB color, even though I don't have many games for it, it had Excellant games. Oracle of seasons and ages comes to mind. And both had pokemon games.

Like you said has to be psx Graphics have obviousley improved with us having ps3,xbox 360, and wiii,s but for me i can always play my psx and i never get bored with it

NES, by far. The games never get old, and you have arguably dozens of the greatest games of all time on it. What's not to like?

The best system, and I still own it. It's a mere shell of its former self(have to use a genesis plug, and an n64 adaptor). There has been no other system that I still go back to, and play on a daily basis(with my 360). This system also had many games which were truly challenging. To this day, I have never beaten Double Dragon(I only got past the machine gun guy ONCE) A true classic that will NEVER die.

My favorite console of all time is the SNES, because it has a enormous replay value. And i second i choose the Dreamcast because it was most notable of its Arcade and fighting games.

Does the computer count as a console? If it does, I choose that. Next up would have to be the PS2 with it's nice gaming library that is still getting larger.

My favroaite gaming console is my DVD player

I'm torn between my Genises and PSOne..:/
