This does not necessarily mean tear out of sadness.
What song did you listen to that just the udder power emotion and strength
made you physically tear out of its power I think for me it was

Victims Of Science - The Device Has Been Modified (Portal Ost)

I could not explain it I was driving on a trip alone and I had just got the song and it was real loud and the sheer power made me tear and i wasn't even sad or anything. It was just the full power to me

"Radical Dreamers ~Unstolen Jewel~" by, Yasunori Mitsuda.

I'm not sure if it was the song itself or the general emoness that was the ending of Chrono Cross but when I heard this song...I wept like a little girl.

wow. i'm glad i'm not the only one who can be moved by music like that.

sadly i'm not sure i remember the name and i might risk confusing a song or two for the real one that "moved" me. i heard it on the radio and it was just excellent in its sounds. all i can say for sure is that it's electronic. and it might have been 'Xpander' by DJ Sasha.

the song made me buy the album not long after. that's how good it was.

another powerful one i love that dind't bring me to tears but songs that my heart loves deeply and are moving to me are the following:

William Orbit - Adagio for Strings (ferry corsten Remix)
Fluke - Kitten Moon

and from the world of anime

Information High from the Macross Plus Soundtrack.

btw. i know d/ling songs kinda sux now cause of seeds or p2p is dead. but i'm gonna make an effort of listening to your guys music via maybe youtube or something cause if you guys are anything like me, we might be giving eachother some great recommendations and i hope you guys explore my recommendations as well and hear them from begining to end. :p

i haven't heard anything from my collection in so long i'm playing some right now and can't believe how good it sounds again. >.< damn i have good taste lol.

There's only one that put me on the brink.

Suteki Da Ne - Final Fantasy X

And no, I don't understand Japanese. What I do know are just little things but not enough to understand what's going on with anything. I always believed that music can make you feel a certain emotion or maybe a reminder of something in the past. It's hard to explain, but this is a perfect example.

Those two both seem to affect me terribly, and there is no particular reason why, of course.

Pretty much every song in Shenmue (1), whenever I listen to that OST, I just get teary eyed because not only is it a great drama themed game and the music captures the atmosphere, but it also reminds me of my first love; who was Japanese, so yeah.

Goodbye My Lover - James Blunt;O

; ; This made me bawl. Listened to it after a break-up and it was too much. I don't know why, but I guess I find it embarrassing to admit, I guess it's because it's James Blunt. Either way, I can't listen to the song again because it brings back to many bad memories.

Another song that brought a few tears to my eyes was 'Hear You Me' - Jimmy Eat World.

The saddest song I've ever heard would have to be:
Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.
Clapton wrote the song (a ballad) about the pain he felt following the 1991 death of his four-year-old son, Conor, who fell from a 53rd-story window in his mother's New York City condominium. In the song, he asks his son if he'll still know him in Heaven.

Music is pretty much the only thing that gets to me, so for me it was:

-Fleeting dream and the ending theme from FFX
-Forever - stratovarius (only because it reminds me of the situation when I first listened to it)
-Wo bist du? - Rammstein (this song gets me every single time, especially towards the end...the music...the lyrics...everything. I can totally relate to this song. I highly recommend you to check it out)
-1000 words from FFX-2, only while watching the FMV though
-Suteki da ne instrumental version (FFX)
-Laura plays the piano - Silent Hill 2 (so gloomy, it makes me tear up)
-Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Room Of Angel (Not as much as it used to, but still)
And last but not least:
-True - Silent Hill 2 (If you hear it and know the story behind it, you'll understand)
