Small update: I found out who composed the game. http://www.mikereaganmusic.com/ He has three tracks up on his site, but they are in a flash player, so no download.

I would absolutely love to find this soundtrack as well. His score from that game was superb. But I'm guessing it was released as a promo or preorder bonus item only. :-\

I'm throwing my hat in too, I've been looking for this ost for a while. This is great symphonic music. Somebody's got to be able to get it. I heard it can't be ripped because it has an xma codec. As a matter of fact, I heard it from OrangeC. Hey OC, how are you?

I've heard nothing. The best bet would be if you all emailed the composer - I put a link to his site somewhere on this thread - about releasing the soundtrack.

Sent him a message, and said that there were a lot of people hoping for a release. Hopefully he gets it.

I already sent him a message. Perhaps if the rest of you did, he could relay it to THQ so that they can give him the OK to send out a public release.

I will see if i can rip some tracks from tracks from the demo to tide you guys over.

BTW the darkness i did it line in, as it uses xma codec. But i still do have the darkness xmas on my hardrive incase someone coems up with a way.

The ps3 version i would like to look at what kind of codec the darknes uses for that but the iso is nowhere to be found, except for dead torrents.

Yesss ps3 is a option. A Ps3 cant use this codec. Anyway ps3 images are really really big. Have still not looked inside a ps3 game. But i am convinced that these games are uncompressed (therefore the big size). If that is true then it should be really easy to rip ps3 games.

Well actually i looked at a tony hawk project 8 iso which was 5GB big, but when i opened it up, all i found was CHK inside the folders, i mean it had the proper folders like: ANIM, STREAMS and the DATA folders, its just that the files are i CHK and i looked a defenition for that and it said it was a file fragment.

But damn i would like to look at the darkness iso real bad for ps3, but its 17GB and all i find are dead torrents.

I looked inside the chk files and nothing appears, no footprints of a file header, no audio bits in goldwave, nada. The only stream chk file i found is a big 200MB streamfile which i think is where all the sounds are, no if im correct all versions of the game use WAD compression which is easy to crack, on PS2 there are adpcm's in the wad file, simple two channel. on PSP wad stream file with atrac properties, 360 usual xma. but on PS3 its a mystery,

Heres my theory, Some ps3 games installs itself on the ps3 archive upon disc insertion, then the game uncompresses, on the ps3 archive, some games are already uncompressed like the darkness, which leads to bigass filesize, Me thinks that the chk files keep the files compressed on the blu-ray discs as a sort of header for the uncompressed files on the hd. But again thats my theory on it.

Doublehelix, at this time we cannot do conan, thats why we are discussing ps3 because if we can do ps3 that means we can do conans ps3, also nobody posts ps3 iso's on the internet because there are alot of fake iso loaders that don't work and at this moment the ps3 remains unhackable. So unless i can get a blu-ray reader im shit out of luck.

I wonder if someone could get a good sound recording from the options menu. Use a recorder or something. I've had success in using one of my mp3 player's recorders.
