Since most of the NPCs don't get enough love (despite the Turks, Zack, and Sephiroth), describe some of your favorite Non-Playable characters.

My favorite non-playable characters:

First as for the Turks: My favorite Turks are Elena and Tseng. Because out of the four they're the best at taking their work seriously.

Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge-their contribution to helps save the planet.

I also like Shera and Luccrecia.

Oh I wish this were an FFVIII discussion :( oh well, I guess my favorites would be: Johnny (guy from Sector 7 slums), Don Corneo (because he's a perv), Scarlet (tha bitch factor), Rufus (don't really know why I like him), and the Turks (I like them all because whenever they show up shit's bound to hit the fan). :D

I can't really remember many from this gsme. Although four that did stand out were the Turks - I suppose they were interesting-enough villains.

Obviously the Turks, Sephiroth, etc. will get more attention because you fight them. NPCs that you get to fight against are gonna get more attention, because they stand out more.

Scarlet and Heidegger were amusing. It's weird that we never got to fight them since they shared a nemesisship with Cloud and co. The closest we got to that was the Proud Clod.

FFVII is a bit short on NPC's that arent generic stereotypes, tbqh.

Of course we can't forget Dio ;). Now that you mentioned him I did remember him before starting this thread, but he just wasn't my favorites of NPCs. He was just cool though.

I have to say I liked Rufus, but then again I always like the antagonist. Granted he wasnt the main antagonist but he was very sure of himself and I love it when the bad guys are very confident, just makes them more sinister. Kind of wish he would of came out on top haha.

Reno, but only because we share the same name. But, I, also, liked Reeve to some extend.

Hojo was an interesting character. Mad scientist that also likes to vacation on the beach.... weird? yes.

What about Palmer? He was freakin' hilarious... especially in Rocket Town when you got to fight him.

Not Palmer! I didn't like him that much. Bugenhagen was pretty awesome!

My favorite NPC is the guy that steals your gil if you walk to close to him in the desert prison....

Of course I remember Dyne, but he's just lost too much of his sanity for my tastes :/.

Since Sepiroth doesn't count since you could use him for a short moment in time, my fav would be that guy in the sector 5 slums that seem to pee for the entire game.
