Indeed! About as far away from Ifukube's uncompromising primal Godzilla style as you can get - these are more traditional melodic, energetic action scores.


As for Toshiyuki Watanabe, I don't have a lot of other stuff by him but his score for Rebirth of Mothra 2 is nice.


He isn't inactive or anything. He just does dramas more often than anime.

I don't know if his Mothra soundtracks are here, but check those out.
