I mean, this shouldn't be a completely absurd idea. One of the characters is from Japan, and there is a stage in Japan (Midori and Kaiju Megadome, respectively) so why no J-Rock? What songs would you all want to see in Guitar Hero?

How about so good old fashioned Malice Mizer?

That's actually a pretty good song. I completely forgot about Malice Mizer.

I haven't thought of songs yet for them but Maximum the Hormone and Sambomaster could have a song on there too.

After thinking this through, I think there should be a Pillows Pack. Carnival, Crazy Sunshine, and Last Dinosaur. Also to note would be Beautiful Morning with you.

The only reason J-Rock isn't in Guitar Hero is because Benami has the japanese market in a stranglehold.

Should Konami make their own guitar game (They recently copyrighted the name "Guitar Revolution") You may get your wish. I may also get my wish to see some of the silent hill rock tracks for the games to actually play.

I would play it just for the chance to hear more of L'Arcenciel, assuming they'd be in it.

Anything from Asian Kung-Fu Generation, really. A lot of their songs are pretty guitar intensive.

Specifically... Song of Blue, Rewrite, Kimi no Machi Made, Denpatou, and some other stuff I'm not gonna list right now.

Uuuuuuh, you ever hear of a game called Guitar Freaks?

If you guys want to get your J-Rock on, just play that, there's plenty of songs from different eras of rock.

I've heard of Guitar Freaks. Guitar Revolution is still a possibility, however. It'd make sense, since the "Revolution" name is well known in the states.

Whether Konami will actually go through with making there own Stateside Guitar Game is unknown.

edit- yea, probably should have been more clear about my first post. I meant Konami is making their first guitar game for the US. Guitar Freaks was only seen in Japan.

Ajikan for sure. Any of there songs would be great but I'd especially like Undersand, Rewrite, and Blue Train. Laruku would be awesome too, "Ready, Steady, Go", Link, and 7th Ave. Cafe. I hope some form of J-Rock's in GH4

j-rock? some luna sea like rosier, tonight. Some X japan wouldn't hurt too like Weekend, kurenai and Orgasm. Laruku would also be nice since their song usually pretty catchy.

I'd love to see "SAKU" by Dir en Grey. I love that song so much!

"If J-Rock was in Guitar Hero...

American society as we know it would have been brutally raped. |: "

I really didn't like Guitar Hero. And as much as I like (sorta) JRock, it just doesn't fit. Except I dunno. Maybe it's being hinted at with that JPop Princess whatever character in Guitar Hero III.

Guitar Hero IV. Just watch.

I'm gonna lay my money on the fact that there'll be at least one Gackt song.

I don't know much J-Rock but 'Harukana Yakusoku' - 'KAT-TUN' would be good.
Or 'Howl of the Departed' - 'Nobuo Uematsu (Lost Odyssey)' would be awesome!

why no j-rock?
because the majority of U.S. gamers dont give a damn about j-rock.

Honestly, I'd like to see this happen. A little Sambomaster, a little L'arc~en~Ciel, maybe even Maximum the Hormone for the hardcore fans. I'm not too much of a GH fan (The judgement is WAY too lenient [yes, I've played bemani and DDR all my life]), but I'll gladly pick up a guitar for that.

The Black Mages, Yoko Kanno, fan-made metal albums.

It'd be cash.

Not that most of the video games are already made in japan.

Anyways, the GH series is kind lame as it is.

I'd rather play the good games like 'Gitaroo Man' and 'Frequency' and 'Amplitude'.

'Rock Band Unplugged' is pretty good too, but that's only cause it's done it the Freq/Amp style.

:)

I won't deny that, but I'm a HUGE 'Atlus' fan, so I'm a little bias towards Japan.

I also play a lot of shoot-em-ups and off-beat games.

Now, if I played a lot of FPS/TPS maybe I'd be different.

Malice Mizer is pretty cool!

If J-Rock was in I would like to hear T.M. Revolution and Abingdon Boys School in it. They did the opening and ending theme of Soul Eater.

Now that would be alright
